I’ve never written a review for a apartment before but i had to this time because this was the worst experience I’ve ever encountered in my entire life… this experience has cause me to become suicidal and had led me to seek therapy and get on depression and anxiety medication i would NOT advise anyone to live here This is post is not to bash the apartment complex or the people working in the office however, this post is to prevent anyone else from going through what i went through by being honest and transparent about what my living experience were at Cottage Cove. The Minute we moved into Apartment complex we have had issues, we only lived at this apartment for only six short months before we couldn’t bare anymore and had to break our lease but for every month we were there we had an issue. Month 1- Dirty Water for a MONTH we had dirty water for the entire first month we were living there, so for the first 30 days we couldn’t cook, wash clothes, shower, or even brush our teeth because the water kept coming out this orange/ yellow color….every time i called customer service to report the issue their response would be “a pipe burst and we’re cleaning the water out ” however this went on for our entire first month Month 2- Water coming up the floor tiles- Within the second month i started noticing water coming up from the floor tiles..it started off as many a table spoon worth then it turned into two cups worth at a time..it became a huge problem when it started ruining furniture and carpets…when i reported the problems the repair man stated he fixed it but evidently he did not because that leak then led to a huge pipe burst the very next month Month 3- Pipe Burst Right after the dirty water issue was finally taken care of after a full month of complaining we then noticed another issue…the pipe burst …I work from home so i was in the middle of working around 9:30 ish when i heard what sounded like loud rain sounds..in a matter of minutes our house was flooded with water..i called the emergency line for help immediately but didn’t get helped until 7am in the morning the next day!!! our house flooded for 10 hours plus straight with NO help Month 4- Mold!!! After the pipe burst happened the mold immediately came right after!! It was everywhere the kitchen the living room the room and we didn’t notice it until we started to get sick we post in a request no one came to check it out or help until we moved out Month 5- TERMITES EVERY WHERE!!! Around our fifth month of living in hell we started to notice there were holes in my bedroom wall upon inspecting them with a flashlight i noticed there were tiny insects in the holes that appeared to look like termites within a matter of days those termites ate the entire wall up and no one from maintenance came out to repair the issue until weeks later by then we had a infestation problem where termites were flying all around the apartment this cause me to have to stop working from home and start working at my job site if that option was not available to me I’d probably would’ve lost my job over this apartment After living with the termites for two months and going back and forth with the property manager over and over! she finally agreed to let us break the lease without the early termination fee and although i am grateful i will say that woman is the worst property manager i have ever dealt with in my entire life she shows no compassion, no care and no sympathy even when i cried to about how my living conditions led me to depression and suicidal thoughts she did not bat an eye instead she said to me “you get what you pay for” Like i said I’ve never written a review for an apartment before but i had to this time because i do not want anyone else to go through what i went through please RUN far away from this apartment if you can they do not care for you, maintenance never fixes anything, management team lacks compassion the whole ordeal is just terrible

This was the worst place I have ever lived because the management doesn't respond or even answer the phone, ever. I had a leak in my bedroom ceiling from day one and it took over 2 months for them to repair it. The streets flood when it rains and there is a huge roach infestation issue property wide. Neighbors are noisy hanging out all hours of the night. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere because Cottage Cove is a dump and you will not be happy living there.

Cottage Cove Property Management has provided the best residential support and services I have ever had. Kevin and Amir, these two gentlemen went above and beyond to satisfy my needs and the staff is welcoming and supportive, ... Every time I've requested maintenance, I've got a quick response. It didn't matter if maintenance was replacing light bulbs, moving furniture, or fixing the plumbing and electrical; they did everything fast and thoroughly to make sure I had a comfortable home. I heartily endorse their properties to anyone searching for a place to live. I'm ecstatic beyond words! Thanks again, Guys!

I repeat, DO NOT MOVE HERE. The employees in the leasing office are extremely negligent. They only care about getting your money. They have admitted that the plumbing here is the original cast iron plumbing from when the buildings were originally constructed. Ever since we have moved here in February 2022, we’ve had problems with the plumbing. The toilet was leaking ferociously and caused a flood in my apartment OVER TEN TIMES. It has caused damaged to the floor moldings in the unit, as well as water damage to my personal property. I complained to the office that I believe there is now mold under my floor, with pictures and videos of water under the flooring. She then proceeded to disrespect me, and say that my apartment must be dirty and that isn’t mold I see, it’s dirt accumulating. Just today we got charged a late fee for the rent. We paid the rent September 2. They proceeded to process the payment today, September 8. We got charged a late fee because they decided to wait an entire week to process the payment. My girlfriend called the office, explained the situation with proof of payment from a bank statement. He hung up the phone and declined the following calls she made. She finally had to take time out of her work schedule to show up, raise hell at the office and show them that we paid the rent on time. She had to do all of that just for them to remove a late fee, that they themselves caused, yet attempted to charge us for. It is unbelievable the experience we’ve had living here. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE to move here. Save yourself the time, money, headaches and look elsewhere. They are gentrifying the neighborhood. Everyone that was here when we moved in has since moved out. I went to the office for a complaint about the plumbing and right on the managers desk was a large STACK of papers and all of them were “ notice of non-renewal “. I can go on and on about the problems we’ve had here. It’s just simply not worth it. They’re charging a premium for something that is simply not worth it. They tell you one thing when signing the lease, but act completely different once you’re locked in. It’s disgusting.

Just recently moved here because my job relocated me to the area! Amazed about how nice is here! No roaches or any incents problem, which I know is a problem in Miami. Very nice people around. Can recommend

Came for a tour yesterday, love the community! Super friendly and green, Amazing playground for kids, lots of parking. Apartments are renovated and have a washer & dryer in the apartment. Hopefully, I will call it soon home!

I am very excited to here back about my move-in date! Love my new house. I have already purchased all brand new furniture, as it was my dream to live in a private house! Beautiful green entrance, flowers around. Amazing!

I called this place recently to inquire about the 2BR and the guy on the phone was so rude and impatient as I asked him questions. We got disconnected and I had my daughter call to finish the conversation because I wasn't sure if it was just me but she got the same vibe. I also drove past the property and was not impressed. The online pics look way better than what you see when you go in person. As a result of my own encounter plus the reviews I have read I will not move here.

There are mice inside the walls..... My next call is to the health department.

Myself and my kids were left homeless because of this place. I was coming from Tallahassee and I needed a place quick, I applied they called the same day and told me that there was only one thing that was going to get me denied Toll Violations. So since I showed proof of payment everything would be alright. Then the guy called me In to get my final paper work before the lease. He gave me my address and move in date. 3 Days before I was supposed to move in I received an email stated that I was denied becuase of credit issues. No one even called me. Once I called they became very rude and didnt even care of my situation.
