Roaches are everywhere, when I say everywhere, they end up in refrigerator, even the freezer, the bathroom, on the beds, in clothes, in and on the couch, HORRIFIC. It's true people are always speeding through that neighborhood and a car ran into one of the apartments, the damage was covered with plywood for a while. You have to tailgate the office constantly to finally see them come over and fix damage or spray the house...i don't like AC unit, the house doesn't smell fresh, unless you leave it on all day. Price isn't worth it , don't do it.

I live in this apartment for 6 month this place is infested with Roach lizards OMG especially mice and rat in my home alone I caught Five mice not a good place to live

Living here is an disaster. ROACHs, LIZARDs, and MICE get in the home no matter what. The office plays stupid when you tell them. Wash room are outside which does not make any sense. Make it an inconvenience to go carry dirty clothe to the wash house. People around the area have and habit for speeding and one car actually ram into one the cottage cove apartment. I stayed for one year and i seen and had enough. Thank God I am moving.

First of all I don't even know where to start from when it comes to cottage cove......OK, THIS PLACE IS NO WHERE TO BRING YOUR FAMILY TO LIVE , IT'S INFECTED WITH RATS AND ROACHES NOT TO MENTION THE PEOPLE AT THE OFFICE THEY'RE SO DISRESPECTFUL.....PLUS THEY NEVER COMES TO FIX CRAP......ITS TERRIBLE HERE. ....

I just moved to Cottage Cove Apartments. Overall, its not as horrible as what I saw online. I did all my research on many places but all over my price range. The property outside is not the best looking but i see they are in the process of renovating. The units inside are nice (depends on the person). I know this is not Aventura or Sunny Isles so I didn't expect anything more. They are spacious, of course I would like to see a little more updates but like i said, not Aventura or Sunny Isles. The staff was nice. They were very welcoming and funny. They made me feel comfortable.. They were very honest and apologized for the exterior of the property and they did mention all the new upgrades that will be in process.The property manager and Assistant manager both came out to greet me (i thought that was very pleasant and professional). If i have any questions or concerns the leasing staff and the management help. I do hope they will hire more English speaking maintenance staff and wish they would have washer/dryer hook-ups. I leave work at 5 so with traffic, i get to the office after 5:30pm so the assistant manager is nice enough to take my payment after business hours. Overall so far i am happy and excited to see when the property is completely renovated.

Worst people to do business with. They are so rude, the manager Johana her self is rude she talks to you like you leaving at the apartment for free. My husband and I really want to leave this place. Gun shots all the time doesn't matter what time it is. One person got shot where we stay at. Not enough lites at night time,the place is dirty, im paranoid every night, the place is not safe.There is no laundry site really there is a few broking dirty machines full of dirty smelly water behind the apartment which I can't even go back there at 6 o'clok that's how dark it is. Stay away for your own safety.Life is too precious to wasted because you could be the next victim its either from getting shot or get low customer services from the staff. Overall rating is really zero except maintenance people who actually are ok. Because we still have roaches in our apartment unit.

So I'm sitting in the living room playing G.T.A 5 .And I hear a. Water type drip drip drip drip ,so I get up and step on the carpet.And it's soaked to the point I see the water on the side of my foot glare off a little, so I'm like what the ----! Then I started. Lookin for for the dripping noise cause it's aggy asf.and I found.it to.be a ducking water leak coming from the lady. That's stays upstairs toilet. Called THE EMERGENCY maintenance telephone NUMBER THE PROPERTY MANAGER MAME Karen Capps had given GUESS WHAT? Goes to voicemail. And it ain't no point of leaving a message because they. Probably won't listen to it UNtil morning of when they pass riding around on the dam golfcart. Doing NOTHING WHAT SO.EVER. So I called again voice mail ......... Bottom. Line COTTAGE cove appartments. Is NOT I SAY AGAIN IS NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT. But sadly to say it passed!.And they still.wanted to keep his lil home in which was a lily.tote nothing.big..... so I see the the inside wet pictures will be uploaded WITH THIS REVIEW. Once again This place is not worth the money.... SAVE YASELF SAVE YA MONEY COULD I SHO WISH THEY AIN'T HAVE TO PAY THIS NOGOOD PEOPLE.EVERY MONTH$1,050.00 X 12 MONTHS =12,600 plus the cost of checking ordering to pay with I wish they /we could have saved it. I am a current resident AND THIS PLACE IS A HELL HOLE BIG AS RATS RUNNING AROUND WHILE ME KIDS SLEEP ROACH INFESTED yhe suppose to be maintance personally they have DO NOT DO ---- AND PLUS THE THE HOT WATER STOP WORKING SINCE DEC31 2013 and they still have not fix.it yet . If i could upload pictures i would . The people in the office luve on property and they still.dnt do ---- parkimg is ridiculous wash roomes is always NASTY ! I have a big hole in my closset wall in which i had to fix because they did nothing to fix it outlets dnt work dishwasher dnt work main breakers box in unit is bad . I have a patio but cant even sit out on it cuz its to nasty and no bullb .. I then asked.the so call maintance dor a bulb them ------- TOLD ME I HAD TO BY IT ......odor in front of my door like what the ---- yall i have stayed in way better and paid bout the same VILLAS DA LARGO BEST PLACE EVERY TO LIVE NO QUESTION ASKED .... ---- COTTAGE COVE FORMALLY KNOWN AS VILLAS MIA MI GARDENS IM BREAKIN MY LEASE AND THEY BETTER NOT PUT THAT ---- ON MY CREDIT ....

I was supposed to move in here two weeks ago, but could not due to the air conditioning being broken. I was told that maintenance would fix it. Now two weeks later I'm still without a.c. and getting excuses from the office. Do yourself a favor and try to move somewhere else, unless you like living in torturous heat.
