I am a real estate agent and I brought a customer to San Marco this past Saturday and our experience was amazing. I first called and was so lucky to connect with Joecelia Figueroa who over the phone told me many things about the community which I was able to easily conveyed to my prospective renter. Joecelia also sent me an email with all the details of the fees, amenities and actual floor plan. Joecelia was super polite, professional, knowledgeable, attentive and easy to talk to. My client had 2 other communities to see and he decided on San Marco partly because of the nice treatment that we all received from Joecelia. She is a gem!! I strongly recommend to work with her when you are thinking of leasing at San Marco.

Me and my son lived in San Marco for 2 years and it was not our best experience because my son's motorcycle was stolen and then it appeared without some parts, another bad experience when I was ready to go to my job and I found out my car was towed because they forgot to tell me about a new sticker, and rude staff.... bad bad place .

I'm not one to write about my problems or be dramatic but I feel like I need to express my frustration openly. Not because I'm feeling sorry for myself but because it makes me disappointed and sad on how people treat each other in the world we live in today. I perfectly understand there needs to be rules to follow for a society to work but sometimes humanity can make us bend those rules. I live in SAN MARCOS CONDOMINIUMS, I've been here for almost a year. A few months ago I had my youngest brother come live with me I wanted to help him out because our family has been going trough some rough patches the last couple of years. Being young and careless, I could say, got into some arguments with security guards something I was never aware of so couldn't stop from happening. Now a month or so ago I get a call from the association manager telling me I had to leave my home. I tried to explain to this man that I had nothing to do with what was happening and I had not received any prior warnings. I even let him know that the first time anything was brought to my attention was the night before by a security guard and since than I had already told my brother he couldn't keep staying there cause I couldn't get my home at risk because he decided to act up. This guy didn't even let me talk just said I had to leave and that I couldn't even park my car in MY parking space or it would get towed. Since that day I have to park in the building in front or the one a block down and walk home with my one year old son. This is what amuses me. I understand my brother acted up and I had to respond for it because I let him stay am my home but come on. He could have told me "yes we didn't give you warning directly but I had told your brother many times before and things haven't changed now i will need you to start looking for something and move as soon as your contact is over". But NO this man just told me what he had to say and hung up the phone. I felt so mistreated, that is what he did, treated me like trash with no care, because of this I have been looking for rent for the last month. They have made this month impossible for me, my parking space remains empty everyday while on nights like today with temperatures in the low 60's I get home from work and buying groceries late and have to walk 10-15 minutes from where I have to park all the way to my apartment door. This guy and the securities who work here see me go trough this every night. They see me either carrying my baby or bring him in his stroller late at night in the freezing cold and cannot just allow me to park in my spot until I finally move out. On top of this, this week they even took my phone number out of the records so I couldn't call myself and open the door, making my life so much more difficult for really no reason. I not only have to walk but I have to wait for someone to come in or out to be able to walk trough the gates. Each night as I pass by the security booth my eyes get watery I don't understand how all they do is look at me with pity and say goodnight. I don't understand how they can all watch this unfairness how not one of them tells me "Ariadna you know what at least in nights that you get home real late I'll give you an overnight pass don't worry about it". NO! Instead they just stare and move on with their lives. I know this is little next to how bad people get treated now in days but it's not until you personally go trough it that you realize how cruel and unfair the world is. I hope not all associations are runed like this one. With staff that have no care in the world for the people who live in them. I received no verbal warning prior the one that got me kicked out, I didn't sign any written warnings either. I do believe that at least some of what they are doing is illegal because there has to be a law protecting residents especially families against this treatment. There should be other ways they could have handled my situation. Sorry for the long story and thank you if anyone actually finished it
