I believe the office is still doing some type of fraud, they don’t know nothing about maintenance but instead the man in the office will try to persuade you to keep damaged equipment so they do not have to replace it. During flooding from the sewer, residents have to clean up back up waste flowing from sewer and pipes that consist of blood, urine, bowls and etc and bcc does not want to hire a maintenance man or professionals that will do these things in order to keep the residence from getting sick. The walls are filled with mildew, the interior cabinets in the apartments haven’t been replaced since the 80s. How is it that a bad apartment complex like Cutler Manor Manages their interior apartment better when it comes to appearance, is it because of the funding ? The lady who walks her dog over here steals people clothes , oh and if you break something they Want you to pay for it and singles elders that live alone have a 2 bedroom. No wonder it’s takes forever for people to get approved for over here

I grew up in BCC in the 80's...it was low-income housing then (not sure if it still is). Even though it had a -------like reputation (Not sure why...maybe cause we were poor and people assume because you are poor you are ------). In my memories it was clean, the grass was always cut, and if you had a problem in your apartment maintenance took care of it immediately. Truthfully, the best memories of my life were at BCC. The apartments were really comfortable. My grandmother lived there from the 80's to late 90's when she died. When my grandmother died over 200 people attended her funeral and most were people who at one time or another lived at BCC. I have to say BCC was about community and families. It wasn't the prettiest or the most lavish, but it was definitely home. I hope that any kids growing up there today have the same fond memories of BCC when they grow up.
