I am planning on moving in July 2007! Yes I have been told by rent.com that there is a lot of illegal activity going on. I have also read the 1 review, not good at all. I myself personally have called the office of this apartment complex."Sasha" tells me that there is new management, that are in the process of turning this bad situation around. Caribean West can be found on myplace.com with nice reviews. I myself will be arriving in Miami July 20 2007- to see for myself if any of these humor are true or not. Coming all the way from Dallas, Texas following a new job offer, I will be ready for anything good or bad...Texans are known to be strong! If there are any present tenants who would like to comment on my comment please do.... at [email protected]

The rent is very high for what you get. The roof is still broken from the hurricanes and they haven't even tried to fix them. The railing on the second floor wag like a dogs tail very unsafe! The grounds are just nasty. With apartments getting broken into every week this a definate safety issue. A set of apartments in the back caught on fire and they have been left unfixed therefore there are now bums and drug dealers staying in those apartments at night. The parking is terrible there is barely any lighting the back parking by the burned apartments have no lights at all there are cars stolen every other week not to mention people are fighting all the time cause there is simply not enough parking for everyone so arguements arise everyday. When you have a maintance issue in your apartments it takes them weeks to fix the problem. the electrical is another issue you can't even use a tiny 3 cup rice cooker while using the microwave or the breaker will trip. Overall these apartments are horrible!!!!!!!!!!!
No RER violations on record.
