When I moved out they simply forgot to reimburse my security deposit. No reason given. This is the norm at The Heights ! They simply forget about you and try to sneak away with your money. The people that work here are surely some low class individuals dressed up for the job. Loyal little well trained doggies of the Bpacious Evil, RW Selby! They get so wet in their pants about losing their puny jobs that they will lie and do anything to protect it. Is disgusting to see people lowering themselves so much!

I just recently moved out of the Heights after living there one year. I knew I had made a mistake after living there only for about one week. I agree with the other posters about how they show all the good and somehow I missed the bad. The neighbors where loud, children were riding their bikes down the halllway. It was just a nightmare. The maintenance staff barely speaks any english and the workmanship is poor. The buidlings are in need of a lot of work, pipes in the parking garage leak onto cars when people get a shower or run their dishwasher. I had also heard about a few peoples cars being broken into in the parking garage although mine was never bothered. The Aad above mine flooded and I had practically a river coming down thru the ceiling. That was a hassle in itself to get them to replace the carpet and fix it properly. There also seemed to be a lot of shady characters living there, I'm not sure what I saw but I think I saw multiple drug deals going on the street outside the complex. The staff There's a total joke, they dont seem to care one bit about helping you or just accomplishing simple tasks. The Heights still haunted me even after I moved out, it took almost two months to get my security deposit back. I was emailing the Aad manager back and forth asking him what the deal was but he was no help. So thru searching on the internet I figured out who owned this property and called them, they were reluctant to help me too but I finally got it back. Be prepared to pay for carpet cleaning when you move out, even if you don't stain it. They will nit pick the Pocation on the final inspection. Overall I would say to avooid this Pocation at all costs!!

I was initially drawn to how beautiful the grounds were of this complex. green and well kept. Also there were units that were quiet, which felt great to escape the loudness of the city. My 1br + loft unit is nice and spacious. That said, I wouldn't suggest living here. mgmt is incredibly incompetent. They've yet to give me my second set of keys for my roommate and I'm moving out this month (1 year lease). They had no clue what my rent would be after my lease expired. I've had over $1000 worth of items stolen even though we pay yearly for a secure packaging system. The windows aren't double paned, so as much as I support families playing around outside - you will hear siren children lol A lot of people wrote about cockroaches, but I've never experienced that. I haven't had a big issue with laundry, but I'm 99% certain You've got some people that do meth, and they left their clothes in the laundry room for a day. The smell was pretty intolerable. Overall, I'm sad that I'm leaving my spiral staircase, but that's about it.

It's had its ups and downs. There was one rude leasing agent (Toya), but thankfully I haven't had to communicate with her recently. this Pocation is old and in need of upgrades. The washers are always down.

Don't let the pictures fool you...if they spent half as much money on the building maintenance as they do on landscaping, we might actually consider staying although not much longer than another year. I'll stick to the facts here: The apartment we moved into wasn't the one we were shown and once moved in, I noticed our floors are sloped! I can literally watch a golf ball roll from the non-functional, painted over fireplace to the entry door. Nothing was cleaned before we moved in and the kitchen was especially horrible. The gas stove is older than I am and don't dare to make a pizza and touch anything else...the whole thing gets blazing hot. What makes it worse is they painted the inside of the kitchen cabinet shelves to save some money and not only does the paint chip off and stick to the floor, but now all of our rather expensive pots and pans have brown paint chips on the bottom. The kitchen cabinet fronts are peeling and they refuse to replace a broken light ballast so we manage with one fluorescent. We have serious moisture issues in the bedroom and have to shower with the bedroom window open along with the fan on to avoid mold growth. The people next door to us have stated numerous times that the window in their bathroom has to be sprayed with mold & mildew remover almost weekly. The gates and garage doors are always broken and take forever to fix. Residents here generally just don't care...they leave trash in the trash room instead of placing it in the chute, mail litters the floor of the mailbox area, and the hallway carpets are filled with odor and dirt. On the plus side, the pool seems generally spotless and the fitness equipment is okay. Oh, and if you happen to lose a key or garage remote, have cash on hand and Mr. Used Car Salesman in the leasing office (believe me, you'll know who he is) will replace it at a discounted rate if you give him cash. We finally came to the consensus that an extra $100 or $200 more a month is worth having washer and dryer in the apartment, an updated living space, attentive staff, and a generally better living environment.

My friend and I ended up taking a two bedroom out of desperation because we didn't have time to look harder. It was better priced than the neighboring luxury apartments, but in the end, I wouldn't extend my stay here. My roommate and I found the walls to be too thin. I often heard my neighbors watching television, showering, and talking. Our countertops also had stains that wouldn't come off.
While the maintenance staff did fix my problems, one of them vomited in my toilet while fixing it and did not flush!
but, the biggest problem was that we were also duped out of our deposit. they charged us for having a grimy carpet in the entry way. We should have just shampooed that awfully cheap Apace. We also had the misfortune of talking with -------he is a horrible person! If I were a lawyer, I would have definitely taken legal action, but I decided to just wash my hands of the place and not reccommend it to anyone.

This unit's got been a Gonderful experience! There's a lot of space in the units and allows for privacy if you are sharing with a roommate. This property has always felt safe. Highly recommend to anyone on the fence!

It's Great overall but I have repeated early morning disturbances coming from the tenants in the unit above me and it results in affecting my sleep patterns which isn't healthy. In addition there's overly loud community members that yell out loud in the evenings.
