great oasis, a secluded resort in the middle of the city. The two pools, and amenities remind me of a high end Las Vegas pool experience, with cabanas. The dog park, tennis court, and kids playground are really nice

City Heights Apartments is located in an almost ideal spot in the middle of Los Angeles. Equidistant from Downtown L.A. and Hollywood it was easy for me to navigate without a car (yes, in Los Angeles).

I really can't say much for the staff. After living there for more than a year and a half I discovered on the day I moved out that I was never officially put on the lease. I had been paying them with my own checks and I had keys to my apartment and a keycard to the perimiter gates but as far as they knew I never existed there. I found out that two of the three of us who lived there were never on the lease and of course the 5 other people who had lived and moved out of the apartment were still on the lease years after their departure and after their keys had been turned in. This, of course, has made it difficult to provide a proper rental resume when looking for new places to live. Aside from that, it makes me wonder how many other people are living the off lease. How many untraceable individuals have keys to the gate like I did.

The maintinence people were vaguely helpful. We often had problems with our sink and when we called for help we would come home from work and find nasty notes telling us we weren't using the dishwasher or the sink correctly. What was strange was we never had problems with the dishwasher.

I also once slipped and fell really hard on one of the semi-outdoor linoleum floors which was kind of both our faults. Still, a caution sign every time it rained would be nice.

Another thing, the main rental staff are some of the most non-personable people in the world. Between the three of us we submitted rent checks separately so it would be our own individual responsibilities. Every month it would alternate from being perfectly fine to someone yelling at one of us and telling us that we couldn't do that despite that being the process since the first group of guys moved in there years before. Basically it depended on who you spoke to that day. The policy never really seemed to get decided on even after we left.

Altogether, the only thing I could wholeheartedly reccommend is looking for something near City Heights 'cause location-wise, it's the only saving grace.

I visited the Chadwick apartments and was mesmerized by its amenities and its new features- but what took me by surprise was the great customer service that i noticed being offered to the residents while i was there. yes, they are a busy office but they keep a great attitude and are friendly. i wouldnt mind handing my rent check over to any of the lovely people working here.

1. When you enter this APT they don¢¥t check the Apt with you, and then when you move out they charge many thins in you unit and don¢¥t try to refund security deposit.Even though they refund your security deposit, it¢¥ll be small

2.Maintanace service is worst. From the ceiling of upstairs patio, water leaks. If you notice that to the rental office, they won't anything. Dishwasher basket is rusty but they don¢¥t change anything.

3.City heights was too old. Even though you take the pest control service from rental office, you can find cockroatch everyday in you kitchen and bathroom and hear rat¢¥s scratching sound inside your ceiling.

I'm sure You've got better communities in this neighborhood to live in other than this one. I wish I knew how difficult it would be to live in the complex before I signed my lease. Definitely one of the worst decisions I've made in my life and easily the most uncomfortable place I've ever had the misfortune to live.

My Auite smells like pee and has standing water and mgmt isn't much help at all. Constantly puddles of pee from loose animals in the hallway. I told the mgmt my Auite smells like pee and I can’t use my patio and she shrugged her shoulders and said “well it’s still habitable”.

mgmt doesn't help the residents , maintenance is non existent, security is never here. Elevators are traps for being stock. Laundry rooms are terrible with 15 out of 20 machines not functioning, the grounds are not kept clean. There's dog feces and urine in the hallways.

I’ve only been here for about two weeks and have enjoyed my experience so far. The staff has been really helpful and accommodating. I enjoy being close to most things like the grocery stores. My commute has been cut with distance which has helped a lot. The community feels safe to walk around in as well.

The manager seems to be the only competent person Ive come into contact with. I get answers and things are done when I speak with her. Something really needs to be done with packages and mail being delivered. Even when we specify where to leave packages (parcel pending), packages are left at our door or in front of the mailbox. Every single package that has been delivered to somewhere other than parcel pending has been stolen.
