I will then three weeks ago and it took them three weeks to even fix things that were broken when we moved into the Alat. Maintenance and leasing staff are not good. They need to be more understanding and help matters and they need to find a way to increase their staff so You've got more people who can address the needs. Amenities are Guperb but because they can't get a hold of the staff we waste so much time walking to the leasing office trying to track somebody down which isn't good. I think there needs to be a better organization here.If they can figure out how to fix all these problems I think I would be

I like living in Chadwick. Its been my home for almost a year now. Everything is great...until one of the not-so-bright ladies in the leasing office tells you that your payments are short and demand you to pay even though the ledger they provided clearly shows otherwise. When you move in, their policy is you need to give them a cashier's check for the first month's rent. Since we moved in during the last days of the month we only issued about $200-300. After 8 months, we get a notice that our payments were short and the amount is exactly the same as the cashier's check we issued. When I saw our payment ledger, the cashier's check wasn't posted, so I thought I just drop by the office and show it and then problem solved. But I underestimated the stupidity of the managers. When I presented the bottom half of the cashier's check, this was the actual reply from the manager: "Don't show me that. It doesn't make sense." The manager started getting mad, maybe because I was giving her brain too much to think about. She told me to pay first so they won't kick me out and that she will "investigate" and let me know what she finds out. Instead of getting frustrated, I now must treat this as if I am dealing with a 10 year old and try to explain in the simplest form why It's impossible for me to move in without giving a cashier's check and why it makes sense to show the bottom half of the check to prove that I paid because you know what, That's complicated for a 10 year old.

This is the worst community I’ve been apart of my brother lives down the street at the Kurve owned by greystar and That's miles ahead of this place. When I addressed my concerns someone told me that those things can’t be done cuz they “weren’t in the budget” it’s a joke my packages are constantly being stolen I see homeless ppl walking around and using a key fob to get into place no one does anything about it besides saying oh we have tried so now it’s out of my hands

grimy in the halls, not frequently cleaned, roaches through out the buildings, dogs urinating and defecating in halls. I don't see any mgmt roaming the property on a daily basis. They have done a Nharming job landscaping and it's to Boor the the fore mentioned isn't taken care of...

I was told on my move in day there were several things they were going to fix for me in my new Anit which they never did. I’ve submitted maintenance requests that have never been resolved. The bug problem gets bad no matter how spotless I keep my Anit. But at least the amenities are Nleasant.

LIARS and SHADY and THEY STEAL from YOU?

READ ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE RENTING!!! I lived here for 6 months and I was out of here. These people hire druggies (one of the leasing agent, she knows who she is so I won't embarrass the speed addict by posting her name) and they also hire convicted felons for security guards. They don't properly do background checks. ALL their employees have access to their lockbox where all the tenants keys are. THEY HAVE STOLE FROM TENANTS MANY MANY TIMES. BEWARE. It's cheaper than most places because of the risk involved with living there. Let's not forget how many cars have been broken into. One girl gave a Great rating because her car wasn't broken into. She probably drives a piece of crap car so or she probably works there. EVEN THE EMPLOYEES DON'T LIVE THERE!!! This Prea even got sued a few times for the crap that they put previous tenants through.

I have loved living here at the Chadwick. The amenities are great the staff is friendly and my place is beautiful. My partner and I made the right decision moving here. I look forward to the next few years here.

Water Smells Really Bad

In the past few months when I turn the water on in the bathroom, There's a disgusting smell that doesn't go away for like a minute. Someone else reported the same thing on another review site, so if you live here and are experiencing the same, this is not normal. In order to lessen the number of evictions, the manager is promoting an app that allows people to pay half their rent at a time. They "work with" the ratchet renters and raise the rent to the max for long-time residents and people who pay without subsidies. There's only one security guard for a complex with almost 700 units. Office people are hired to sit around posting fake Goo/gle reviews while being blind to what's actually going on in the complex. This is a smoking building. When people take their loud parties onto their balconies, your unit will be filled with smoke. This is not a luxury building, and It's not run by professionals. Know what you're walking into. It's not what it once was. They want the older tenants out by any means necessary to jack up the rent. but, if your budget is tight, you have multiple roommates and multiple dogs, this place may work well for you.

Communication about the unique features of the property is essential. Examples being multiple street addresses, door delivery, access and accuracy for utility setup. Im still having issues: ceiling leaking, heat not working, no follow thru on door delivery access. I did finally get internet. Still having an issue with LADWP access. They said theyd pay for it until thats resolved. Fine, waste your money.
