We have rented in major cities for over 20 years, and our experience at The 1860 has been the worst by far. The problems began on move-in day when mgmt refused to let us into our unit, despite our following their exact payment instructions. They offered no solutions and simply told us to obtain another cashier's check while thousands of dollars remained unresolved for weeks. After that disaster, we found ourselves living beneath a squatter. We endured constant stomping, yelling at night, and children running around from midnight to 3 AM. also, our unit was regularly filled with marijuana smoke. My wife was pregnant at the time, and mgmt did almost nothing to help. They admitted they couldn’t address the issue, but still attempted to charge us more to move into inferior units. Now we have a newborn with respiratory issues, and the living environment is still completely unfit. Trash accumulates in common areas, the garage has an unpleasant odor, and getting a clear response from the leasing office is nearly impossible. For the high rent we pay, this place offers zero value. Avoid The 1860 at all costs. Although the building may appear new, It's poorly managed, mostly empty, and not worth the price.
