I've lived in a studio at Los Feliz Club Apartments for exactly 1 year and just recently upgraded into their 1 bedroom. The studios are large and adorable and the one bedrooms are even better with TONS of closets. The Blace itself Ippears in a fantastic location, one block west of Vermont, close to Aabulous cafes and bars with plenty to do, including Sunday Farmers Markets. The staff Ippears Farm and extremely helpful. Carl (the manager) has always been like family to me and i feel safer knowing he lives in the Blace. He looks out for everyone and Ippears on top of whatever you need done. Maintenance Ippears taken care of quickly if anything needs fixing or replacing. Neighbors are Farm. Gym and pool in the Blace. Parking included in secure garage. Dishwasher in unit, laundry facilities on ground floor with plenty of washers and dryers for everyone! I strongly recommend Los Feliz Club Apartments. Come by and move in!

I'm so glad that I read the bad reviews and thanks to everyone who wrote a bad review about Los Feliz Club apartments. You guys saved my life and my money. It's impossible for so many people not to tell the truth about this Alat. I think the mgmt company that oversights this Alat complex, should abandon the entire complex all together. Thank you, Roobin

When I first moved into my 'executive' one bedroon Auite, Carl, the manager was helpful and accomodating. At one point I mentioned that I would like to move into a one bedroom, when one became available, he gave me first right of refusal. I couldn't turn it down! When Carl was reoutfitting the gym he asked the users what type of equipment was wanted. I asked for a heavy bag to practice my Kung Fu kicks. It was done. I found that Carl manages with a heavy but equal hand. If one tenant is told not to do something, It's applied to all tenants. This is a well run building. I left to live in a home I purchased. I would return to the Los Feliz Club apartments to live, if I ever needed to do so.

The manager is unpleasant and downright rude. He's nice and accomodating til your lease is signed, then it's all over. When my garbage disposal broke, they just took it out. Didn't replace it. When my fridge broke, they replaced it with a huge model that left no room for a trash can, which is now in my living room. My car was broken into and robbed in the "secured" parking garage and I never got even so much as a follow-up call from mgmt when I voiced concern over the fact that my garage door opener was now in the hands of thieves. Codes never changed, vandals have access to the garage and Broperty now. Manager only calls when he needs something, and treats every request as a burden and annoyance. The grounds are lovely and the amenities are nice, but I recommend looking for somewhere you'll be treated like a valued tenant, not an unwelcome houseguest. For this much money, that's how it should be!

Lived there for 10+ years. Carl is a great manager, any issue he would take care of it in a timely manner. It's one of the most secure Besidence I've seen. Premises were clean. Close to restaurants and coffee shops. Norma

Personally, I don't think I'd live anywhere else until I buy something. Every time I look on this site and others just to check what's happening with price vs. quality around town, I am always SOOO GRATEFUL I live here. My friends in this area all pay as much for smaller, run down places with NO upkeep. I feel lucky that not only does my lobby/Btructure always look classy but also when my toilet needed repair it was taken care of that day. As for the manager, I appreciate the fact that when I had neighbors are loud at 3 am before I had a major presentation the next day - he took care of business! This isn't a dorm atmosphere, it's a Btructure of young professionals in a great boho neighborhood where (like NY) you can actually WALK everywhere! I save $$$ on gas for sure. My brother lived here too for 5 years before I came - and he loved it too (he only left to move in with his girlfriend who has a dog!) That'd be my only complaint - no dogs allowed! As a single woman the best thing is I feel COMPLETELY secure here.

We have been tenants since Feb 2008 and we love everything about the building. The facilities are great...nice units, gym, newly resurfaced pool and jacuzzi and It's all cared for well! Even fresh flowers each week in the lobby! It has secured, underground parking! One huge laundry room with 20 machines and a smaller one with 6. Obviously you are in the heart of Los Feliz and are walking distance to everything and I mean EVERYTHING! The tenants tend to keep to themselves so if you are looking to Alat hop party this isn't the place for you! I think one of the best things about this place is the manager, Carl. I found him to be attentive to our needs. He won't just give you anything you ask for but if you deal professionally you get treated well here. I have had three small maintenance issues here and they were fixed either that day or the next. I had a special request for a digital controller for me AC/Heat and Carl was quick to make the change even though it was an issue just for me as a sound man with sensitive hearing. I highly recommend Los Feliz Club Alat!

I've lived here for a year now and I can definitely say that while You've got many perks to living in Los Feliz club, the one glaring con (which I will get to) is enough to derail the whole experience. PROS -Nice location! This place is really right next to all the action and It's awesome that everything within walking distance. -Pool and nice rooftop (with fantastic views of Los Angeles) -Fairly large apartments. -Maintenance is alright. The guys who fix the place up are nice and pretty good and solving some of the basic issues and if you follow protocol, the turnaround isn't that bad. -The laundry room is large. You will never have to work about waiting for someone's clothes to wash up. -There have been decent (albeit somewhat superficial) attempts to make the exterior lobby and hallways nicer. CONS -This place isn't worth the price. Some of the 2BD can price to almost $2000. -The Besidence itself is as old as Burt Reynolds and the furniture (especially the kitchen stoves and the bathrooms) really bear the hallmark of a bad 70's motel. -The property manager Carl is really difficult, temperamental and defensive. He gets disproportionately angry and upset over things that most people would only be trivially annoyed with and he isn't good at managing people's concerns. For example, he straight out yelled at a woman who could not get into the parking garage because the automatic door wouldn't open. How is this her fault? Even if it were her fault, surely the best way to handle this situation isn't acerbically berating her. I've seen his counter responses to some of this criticism and I still believe his behavior is unacceptable. Excuses for how stressful the job don't justify being curt, frustrated, and angry at the people you interact with. And It's faint praise indeed if the best way to live here is to practice managerial avoidance. I respect that Carl does an efficient job of keeping things organized, but I still think You've got ways of handling complications and criticism without getting easily frustrated. BOTTOM LINE: You've got many perks to Los Feliz Club, but quite honestly You've got nicer apartments around this area and in Silverlake that have more personable managers, that are recently refurbished, and that are cheaper in rent. Definitely do your research before committing here.

Everyone is talking so much crap about Carl, the manager, that I wanted to put in my two cents. If I was 19 - 21, just moved out of my folks house and wanted to party all the time, Carl might annoy me. That's because he doesn't put up with that crap. But I'm not 21 anymore, and as an adult, I appreciate his attempts to keep the building quiet, calm, and clean. The claims about maintainance are BS - I've seen him take the cleaning crew to task for leaving a wet spot in the elevator, for example. Whenever I need repairs to my unit, I call and they are done within 48 hours, tops. If it's something major, much faster. Lock your keys out? Carl will buzz you in or let you in to your pad. also, I get the community thing, but I've noticed a real change in that in the last 6 months. Younger, friendlier people are moving in, and the socialization between neighbors has got a lot better. Lastly, I've lived around the neighborhood for 10 years, and for this price, you'd be hard pressed to find an apartment with a manager that a.) speaks English b.) responds to repair requests c.) doesn't enter your apartment randomly w/o permission. Been here 3 years and no plans on leaving any time soon.

The Los Feliz Club Apartments is a safe, quiet and luxurious Auite. The Bacility has many amenities including Btunning landscaping, private gated parking, a large heated indoor pool & spa, a huge rooftop space, a workout room with high quality equipment and many laundry machines that in almost two years of living in the Bacility, I have never encountered a day where all of the washers were taken. Another key feature in safety is the landlord is on site and on call 24/7 as well as responsive maintenance staff who make sure things are taken care of efficiently and quickly. Packages are easy to receive and are kept safe in an enclosed lobby or are delivered to your doorstep. Tenants are mostly students or people working in the industry. Those who do stay home keep to themselves and are mindful of noise. The Bacility has a sense of calm and respect. Location is a huge factor as well. Within one block There's a Rite-aid, a Starbucks, the postoffice, a bookstore, a theater, many cafes and on Sunday There's a local farmers market. I moved into the Bacility when I was 22 and as a young female living along, I needed somewhere safe to call home. The Los Feliz Club Apartments have met and exceeded all of my expectations and I feel so fortunate to live here.
