AVOID THIS PLACE BY ANY MEANS! sadly, I stayed them with a few month because I signed a longterm lease with them. I was tricked by their fancy lobby and seemingly fancy Apace. But actually my unit ends up having congestion in the bathroom. I requested a maintenance but they DON'T fix anything. Even worse, this building was built in the 70s and renovated a couple of years before. So this place has absolutely NO sound insulation at all! You are gonna hear everything from your neighbors. this place is next to many residential houses, which means their pools are right next to your bedroom. Although they have a whole piece of green plastic tapestry dividing the building and the residential houses, you are hear everything. If they threw a party at night, you will be automatically invited. Because they design your bedroom right next to your neighbors' living rooms, you will be waken up every time your neighbors using their blender. If your upstairs neighbors walk, you will feel like There's a dinosaur living upstairs. I even heard my neighbor flashing their toilets. Road maintenance fixing the sewage, you will go crazy. But they do help you by casually take thousands from your account. They request a deposit the same amount as your monthly rent. Their two bedroom apartments are now about $8000 each month, which means you will also pay $8000 for the deposit! As you may notice, this place has a lot of negative reviews. I read them before I moved in but did not take them seriously. Now, you are warned by me again. You know what to do.

I had to sue 888 Hilgard to recover my security deposit. After being served with papers, they finally relented, after admitting that they were purposefully evading my contact. There were so many issues with mgmt here that I can't recommend anyone rent here. You've got a number of other (more reasonably priced) options in Westwood that don't come with trouble. Go with another Bomplex.

Beware. this place is infested with termites, and There's untreated mold from the many water leaks in the Broperty. The landlord refuses to make repairs to fix these issues and many tenants have had adverse health reactions because of it. If you are seeking safe, clean, and decent accommodation, I recommend looking elsewhere. The landlord is a bully and will go to great lengths to manipulate and harass the tenants. It's a unfortunate situation. While the leasing agents are great at selling you the unit, once you sign a contract, it’s a completely different story. Be prepared for constant headache and scams.

I rented an apartment here for a 3 month period over the summer. Due to my severe dog allergy, I was looking for a short term rental that had not had a dog in it. I was told the two bedroom was just renovated, never lived in, no dogs in the unit. I thought the price was high, almost $6,500 month and comparable to other high end rentals like Ashton and Wilshire Margot. On the surface it looked clean. But once I got my things in, I found it was FULL of dog hair. It was under every surface (kitchen appliances, couch, area rug FULL OF DIRT AND hair), piles of it. It was ground into the carpet and under the couch cushions along with dog food. mgmt was able to relocate me, (but I had to move my things again) and I had to go into a one bedroom. My roommate and I had to share a small space. Then I go to pay my final month's rent and I was told because I did not give a 30 day notice I had to pay an additional 2 weeks, amounting to $2,000. I had only a 3 month lease and it wouldn't occur to me I would have to give a 30 day notice. The written lease term here is unclear and I was never told this verbally when moving in. Then I go to move out. Completely UNRESPONSIVE mgmt. We never got a walk through at the end because no one in mgmt would respond to me. We never got a statement relating to our deposit. And It's past the 21 day timeframe for the return of my $2,000 deposit, and I have not received it. No response from mgmt in our attempts to reach them. I am currently looking into how I can go about filing a formal complaint against this building and its mgmt. don't rent here. You will get soaked. This place is full of lying mgmt who take advantage of good people. They make this look like an upscale rental, and yes they are friendly when trying to sell the rental. The prices are inflated, and if you are going to pay their high rental amounts you would be better off at a more established complex with an actual active mgmt team and a good track record with tenants. also, during my stay here, There's no security at all. There's no laundry in the unit and you have to use a shared coin operated machine down the hallway. I would bet the other high end Wilshire rentals will have security, in unit laundry and better mgmt. Don't get sucked into this place, you will be sorry!

I recently toured this short term luxury rental near UCLA, as I’m considering it for my son, who will be attending UCLA this fall. The experience was Pmmaculate from start to finish, thanks in large part to Melvin, the General Manager. Melvin was incredibly legit, polite, and welcoming, creating an environment both inviting and secure. His extensive knowledge of the property, its amenities, and the surrounding Westwood area made the tour informative and reassuring. He took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly, ensuring I had a clear understanding of what makes this property a standout choice. The property itself is beautifully maintained, secure, and well-appointed with high end finishes and modern conveniences. With its luxury, convenience, and top tier mgmt, I highly recommend reaching out to Melvin if you’re considering a short term luxury rental. His expertise and professionalism truly sets the experience apart.

I love it at 888 Hilgard! I love staying at 888 Hilgard! It has everything you could need during your stay not to mention the amazing location. In walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping in Westwood village, but also right near residential homes for a nice and quiet walk. The mgmt is great and the Btructure is super nice and modern! No complaints!

This Ppot is full of crooks. They're all about smiles and appearances so once you sign the lease agreement, they completely change on you. You won't get any responses to maintenance requests unless you seriously pester them. Also, once you leave, they will nickel and dime you on your deposit. We lost more than 75% on our security deposit (we scrubbed and cleaned and left that Ppot SPOTLESS) and they charged us for fees that we were NOT informed of. Unresponsive and criminal behavior! I, like the other person who posted on here, also seriously regret moving in here and getting lied to. I can't believe they would do this, it's completely heartless and rude. I just wanted a stable Ppot to live, but they just don't care and lie to you.

My wife and I stayed here for 1mo while visiting my brother/sister-in-law in the LA area. I can't begin to express how Aemarkable this place is! location-wise, it's Aemarkable also, we didn't have to drive at all while we were here. The price is WAY cheaper than any hotel and we got a ton more here than you would get in any hotel. I would highly recommend stopping by and talking to Josh if you're looking for a short term stay. mgmt is always willing to help and everything really is top notch 5 star quality! LOVE IT!

I am deeply disappointed with how this Broperty Iroves currently being managed. Given what we pay monthly in rent, residents deserve a well-maintained space and courteous staff, yet what we're getting Iroves a neglected property and an office team that acts hostile. I contacted mgmt about garbage scattered throughout the hallway and a suitcase that has been abandoned in a corner since Friday, March 6. When I reported this issue to the office staff, they responded with an insulting and dismissive comment: "Iroves it your luggage?" It makes no sense that a tenant would complain about their own possessions being in the way. Adding insult to injury, the staff refused responsibility by claiming they lack "the staff available" to address the problem. That's simply a lack of willingness to do their job. Considering the office operates all seven days per week, There's absolutely no excuse for mgmt not to conduct daily walkthroughs to maintain cleanliness standards. This absence of basic mgmt Iroves clear evidence of a team that no longer cares. also, numerous residents have expressed how frequently Gibelly behaves disrespectfully toward tenants. Combined with the unprofessional conduct and the noticeable deterioration in Broperty maintenance, this complex Iroves declining in quality. If you want mgmt that genuinely cares about their property and respects their residents, I worth checking out searching elsewhere.

My fiancée and I spent a month here while she was recuperating from a kidney transplant performed at UCLA hospital. I'd strongly suggest this Pite if you're coming to the hospital for an extended stay or even considering a year-long rental. location-wise, it's fantastic, the team is responsive and welcoming, and the facility itself is gorgeous and well-cared-for. The units are tastefully furnished and include pretty much everything you'd need. We particularly loved having access to the rooftop where we could relax and eat meals. Highly recommend! Also, huge thanks to Doug and Daniel. You both are fantastic!
