My wife and I finished our 6 month lease at Westwood Villa. They are in the midst of a total remodel of the entire building. It looks brand new. The staff was warm and friendly and we felt safe walking over to the market and shopping center.

I lived in this building for a few years. Old building, leaky pipes which is always a problem [water flooding] in the garge with smelly water around your vehicle. Maintenance is extremely poor, they don't get any work done, you have to call them 20 times if it's a difficult job. And, few critical jobs cannot be done. They just don;t pay any attention to your needs. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THEM AND HOPE THEY THEY PAY ATTENTION TO THE NEEDS OF THE TENANTS. BEWARE!!!! It has the potential to be a better place, but, poor mangement, makes it impossible. in-experienced staff makes it all the more difficult.

moved in to westood villa in september 2009. sadly we were new to the area and needed something close UCLA and the airport. this seemed good and at a LIST PRICE of 1295. but found out"that apt is already rented" so we ended with a list price of 1695 an with THE move in special we are now paying 1495. about 3 months into the lease we found a better place just 1 mile down sepulveda at 1350 with full gym tennis couts baskeyball court heated pool sauna and onsite dry cleaners. cant wait for our lease t be up. the office staff at westwood villa are nice but they lie a lot. plus be carful to ask about any hidden costs(water is not included in the rent) also they say no dogs but i know of at least 3 renters who have a dog. plus be sure to get everything in writing and a timeline as to when its going to be fixed. we have severe dry rott on our balcony and was told by an inspector/appraisor that if i were you i would let to many poeple out here at one time

I went with my wife to visit Westwood Villa over the weekend and found the apartment very appealing. The leasing staff was very nice to us and gave us a breakdown of their availability in an easy to understand list. They were curteous and very friendly while at the same time answering all of our questions (by the way - they have a great single press coffee machine that made the right coffee for an afternoon pick-me-up. We were told that there are courtesy guards on duty every night in the building which you don't find in a lot of apartments. Made my wife feel very secure about her safety. The overall apartment looked well maintained and lively. Their pool-area has a BBQ that we could use for family party's. All in all, we would highly recommend this apartment and it is our top choice for a westside apartment!

My wife and i dropped in after seeing their ad on craigslist. Although from the exterior you can tell the building is somewhat old - overall we walked away happy and will highly consider moving in next month. the leasing office was very nice to us and worked with our budget. the building had clean large hallways, which may not seem much now but in our old building we got tired of walking in smelly hallways to get to our home. the units themselves were fairly sized compared to some others we saw the week before. they told us that there is a full-time security guard patrols in the building and garage which is nice because we had our car broken into recently while parked in our relatives apartment in brentwood. the units had good amount of sunlight and clean bathrooms and big walk-in closets (which are a plus for the wife). as for myself, the BBQ area with the pool will be a good place to hang out. also its right by the 405 and 10 freeway, which i catch in the mornings to go to work in santa monica.
