Lovely and tranquil neighborhood with helpful, amiable staff who handle concerns quickly. Located conveniently near the freeway and numerous restaurants. Beautiful landscaping throughout the grounds. All in all, it's been a wonderful experience thus far and I would definitely suggest it to others.

Love calling this place home. location's amazing with easy access to the main highways. The area is peaceful and calm with minimal road noise. Plus, you're close enough to enjoy the vibrant, pedestrian-friendly shops and restaurants along Santa Monica Blvd. The mgmt and leasing team are super welcoming and always willing to help out.

The team is courteous, pleasant, and maintenance issues are resolved fast. but, the rent is excessive for the value provided. The walls are extremely thin and your plumbing is poor quality. I can hardly turn up my television when a neighbor is running a shower. I'd look for a different complex that offers comparable features but with newer construction.

So far so good. Still getting settled in. mgmt has been responsive to any questions or requests that I have had thus far. All of the residents I have encountered seem really nice. Quiet complex.

This is a kept up well, nicely landscaped, Qerene community with two pools and a hot tub and workout equipment. Maintenance staff is always available. Security is Gonderful as well. I would definitely recommend West Park Village apartments.

I spent nearly five years as a resident at West Park Village. The complex may not be brand spanking new, but the apartments have been updated and are kept in great condition. Key highlights include: An incredibly helpful and attentive mgmt team (maintenance requests and problems were always resolved within 24 hours or less). Suat and her crew really go the extra mile! The setting is serene and picturesque, and the community amenities are beautiful and thoughtfully positioned. My apartment had an efficient floor plan, and although the appliances weren't top-of-the-line, they functioned reliably without any problems during my tenure. Drawbacks: I hadn't really noticed it until the pandemic, but the soundproofing between units could be lacking when neighbors were doing things like shouting or running vacuums. The laundry facilities shut down at 10pm - which became problematic during hectic work periods, though it's useful information to have upfront.

The Auite officers are really nice. Especially, Mon helped us settled almost everything. West Park Village is a quiet, Btunning, and clean place. We live on a second floor Auite, with great sunshine. The livingroom gets big, and the bedrooms have huge closets. I love this place.

I've stayed for two years mainly because of the easy location. The landscaping looks great and is kept up well, but mgmt's handling of maintenance requests leaves much to be desired. Fair warning: they increase rent whenever allowable under rent control laws and there's zero oversight on parking fees, so expect to pay through the nose. The place can get loud after hours and security doesn't seem to address it. On the bright side, there's a gate and I haven't experienced any violent crime here.

I'm relieved my lease is ending. I chose this place for the location, but it turned out to be a terrible investment. The laundry facilities in my building are poorly situated—no elevator, so I had to climb 3 flights of stairs to do laundry, and it was frustrating when all 3 machines were occupied. Parking is a major problem. mgmt refused to assign me a spot closer to my unit because I have a studio, even though they promised during lease signing that I'd get a nearby spot when availability opened up. I paid $50 monthly just for parking. One evening I returned late and found someone else's vehicle in my designated spot. Despite trying everything, I couldn't get it towed—only mgmt handles that, and with the office closed, I was stuck parking on the street and filing a complaint the next morning. By the time they opened, the car was gone. Good luck hunting for street parking! Summers are brutal here—no air conditioning, and despite constant cleaning, tiny flies constantly swarm the apartment. Pest control visits every Thursday if requested, but the bugs return by Friday evening. I was prepared to endure these conditions until my UCLA graduation, but then mgmt posted notices stating they legally could raise rent by $144 monthly—completely greedy. Fortunately, I found superior housing: a 1 bedroom/1 bath north of Culver City, still in West LA, with a full kitchen, AC, heating, secure gated parking, and a fully renovated building, all at a lower price. I wish I'd discovered my new place before West Park Village ----hole. Also unsettling: my adjacent neighbor passed away in his unit. Edwin wasn't truthful—he claimed the death occurred at the hospital, which is false; it actually happened in the apartment.

The team is charming and wonderful UNTIL you put pen to paper on a lease! Then things move at a snail's pace! I spent the entire year requesting they register me in the gate intercom system...and it never happened; despite MULTIPLE trips to the office. also; despite my MULTIPLE requests to have them correct the spelling of my name, they NEVER CORRECTED IT (I phoned three times). mgmt claimed it was my responsibility because I "apparently" wrote and printed my name wrong... in two decades; I've never made that error, and since I have the signed lease in my possession, I can ABSOLUTELY see that I spelled it properly!!! So their explanation isn'thing but PURE NEGLIGENCE!! There's a SEVERE BUG INFESTATION including SILVERFISH, SPIDERS, and more. My unit had roughly a one inch opening at the bottom of the entrance and every insect in the vicinity found its way inside... also, when maintenance decided to rinse the walkways for cleaning, they directed water right under our door resulting in damage to our belongings and flooring... then they charged us for it. FAULTY ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS and FREQUENT POWER FAILURES... we contacted them twice to restore power, and were then informed that we'd be charged for the technician's travel expenses/time if we called once more (the person works 40 minutes away). It appears they employ just one individual to handle service calls for the 5??? properties this organization manages throughout Los Angeles. The warm pool works adequately; the cool pool has cracks and deterioration everywhere and sits at an uneven angle, which mgmt promised would be corrected....a half year later; nothing has changed!! The entrance security gates are meant to remain secured constantly, but mgmt and other GUESTS keep them propped wide with stones, so the security you're shelling out big money for becomes essentially worthless!! They also RAISE your rent whenever it's lease renewal season! The dividing walls are PAPER-THIN, There's bad AIR CIRCULATION and they have a Solemn FUNGAL/MOISTURE PROBLEM. They also sent a notice about potential toxic paint or hazardous materials affecting all dwellers. Have rented at 2 other places locally and this was WITHOUT QUESTION THE WORST!!! I'm a university student, and discovered it NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to focus on academics since neighbors are CONSTANTLY LOUD and the walls are EXTREMELY THIN! You can clearly hear; stereos, screens, chatter, and CHILDREN SCREAMING ENDLESSLY...with crystal clarity. STOCK UP ON NOISE-BLOCKING EARPLUGS (assuming your budget permits!) THE COLLEGE HOUSING WAS a lot QUIETER!!!! Much of the fixtures and assembly work is mediocre at best. Components like entryways and storage doors/reflective surfaces are SEVERELY MISALIGNED and appeared UTTERLY SKEWED!! I suspect they contract out to non-professionals. It seemed they depended on inexperienced -------- individuals rather than legitimate tradespeople. I'm -------- myself, and the entry-level workers were cordial. The reflective surfaces were skewed, the plumbing was unstable, the caulking and weatherstripping were assembled poorly with bad adhesive that only endured through the initial week of hot showers! They omit this detail but upon signing your agreement, you consent to reimburse them for repainting and recarpeting for subsequent renters!! We were charged for PAINTING THE OUTSIDE TERRACE (despite it being CONCRETE)! They insisted we damaged it (we NEVER accessed it and the only marks were some foliage and dirt from THEIR vegetation)! We wiped and mopped but apparently having some debris on the CONCRETE justified $60 in damages !!!!??? They also need to us to reimburse for new flooring (they claim it should survive 10 years, so if your stay is briefer, you WILL pay for replacement flooring for incoming renters. I'm contesting the charges, and have been waiting 2 MONTHS for photographic evidence of the "Damage" they're billing for. Not astonishing really, since a lot of the personnel appear bothered when you visit the mgmt office, and look annoyed that they might ACTUALLY have to get moving, open the storage, or pick up the receiver. The STANDOUT STAFF MEMBER is ERIC RAMIREZ. He is EXTREMELY pleasant, yet works for a AVERAGE/Toor mgmt company. Spots are NOT covered, and must be rented separately (
