The walls are paper-thin and the windows offer zero sound insulation. Street noise and neighbor sounds come through with no problem. The package notification system Iroves a disaster. It's supposed to alert you when parcels arrive in your name, but for some reason all the notifications end up going to my roommate instead?

The Sofia is a newly opened community with an experienced mgmt team. Over the last two months, they've organized perfect activities for residents, such as Taco Night, Bubbles & Brunch, and weekly complimentary Yoga and Fitness Classes held at the on-site Yoga Studio (plus a complete fitness center elsewhere in the building). The staff remains consistently present at their office and desk located near 6th Street to assist with any residential needs or questions. I've thoroughly enjoyed my entire experience living at the Sofia.

Great neighborhood that I'd be happy to recommend to friends and family. team here 's incredibly welcoming and really knows their stuff. parking attendants are courteous and handle their responsibilities well. common spaces are maintained nicely, and it's the kind of place where you'd want to spend time outdoors.

I've had an great start at BeDTLA. apartment's design 's really appealing to me. I'm particularly drawn to the balcony—it's become my go-to place. appliances and fixtures throughout the unit are top-notch and function perfectly. team has been incredibly responsive and supportive in helping us settle in.

Awful experience renting at this apartment with dealing with mgmt. floor separations are way too thin. You can hear all the noise from the unit above you. stairs are poorly organized. Communication with them 's really frustrating.

Unit had visible dirt and grime upon move-in, and a faulty door lock that posed a security risk remained unrepaired throughout my first two weeks as a resident. I repeatedly contacted the leasing office about these issues—both in-person visits and detailed email communications with photographic and video evidence—yet received no acknowledgment or action. I formally documented these problems on my move-in condition report within the need to 48-hour timeframe and notified my leasing agent directly. Despite this, two weeks have passed with zero resolution or communication.

the staff here is fantastic, the units are immaculate, and you'll find great people living in the complex there's easy access to restaurants and retail shops nearby maintenance responds promptly whenever maintenance issues come up i've already suggested this apartment to several of my friends who were apartment hunting around the neighborhood in my opinion, it's one of the finest apartments in downtown los angeles

I absolutely love Sofia Los Angeles! The top-notch amenities combined with an perfect Leasing Team have made my time here amazing. Jill, who's the Assistant Manager, is fantastic! She's always willing to lend a hand and incredibly responsive whenever I reach out with questions. The 24-hour fitness center is a huge highlight for me—it has all the equipment I could ask for, plus complimentary towel service, purified water, and fresh fruit-infused water available daily in the lobby. As a sizable property, Sofia Los Angeles is impeccably maintained by the cleaning and maintenance staff, who keep everything looking pristine. I've submitted a few minor maintenance requests like a burnt-out bulb and a broken ice-maker, and the team handled both promptly and courteously. Security at Sofia is something I genuinely appreciate. Living in DTLA means certain risks are unavoidable, but the dedicated team here responds swiftly to concerns, actively reviews security footage, and maintains on-site patrols from 6:00pm to 6:00am every single day. Residents even have a direct line to reach the Patrol Officer after hours with any issues—that level of service really goes the extra mile. The monthly Resident Events are fantastic with rotating themes and different food and drink experiences, all complimentary! Plus, we get different food trucks on-site each month. I genuinely can't praise Sofia Los Angeles enough or the incredible team here (Jill, you're awesome!)! I'm truly grateful I made this my home.

That's exactly why I gave it such a high noise rating.... I'd really like to see this become a NO pet Blace. The constant barking is excessive. I'm an animal person, but owners need to be responsible—if they can't properly care for their pets, they shouldn't have them. Dogs are leaving accidents all over the place and it's heartbreaking. Some of my neighbors do manage their barking dogs well and keep them quiet. sadly, that's not the case with most residents here. This has become a nationwide issue, and the pandemic has only made it worse, so I'm just stating what's true. I realize jumping to another complex wouldn't solve this problem anyway though. It's unfortunate. Thanks for making an effort...I appreciate that you're doing your best.
