I love living here for the location and hoe quiet It's. and how clean and lovely my apartment is. But the front mgmt is rude. And they need more security because there area always hoodlums hanging out in the front and they will harass and call you names from personal experience. So it isn't that safe.

Don’t waste your time or money- not even worth touring. The leasing office is never helpful- only one of the agents partner acts in any way and they act like a sheriff who can’t handle any power without it going straight to their head (even though the has no power)

I moved into Hollywood Vida 1745 in March. mgmt wanted to argue over which apartment I had paid for. Which we had agreed on a certain floor plan via email, and that email was saved. Arrived to have wrong apartment given to me initially, and argued saying it was what we agreed on. When we showed the right floor plan, office wanted to argue even further saying it wasn't available. The story changed from un- available to might have it in 3-6 months, and we can swap you . To finally we got the response of we will show you to your right apartment . Its not right to try and short serve someone and continuously lie like that, that was the 1st mistake. Always an issue with neighbors making noise, even after asking them to stop and reporting them to the office. Vida Hollywood isn't exactly a safe place to live either. A group of men try checking to see if apartments were unlocked one night at 1am. Tried to call security and they were nowhere to be found. Called security dispatch as well... 2 TIMES. And they said someone was on the way, this was over the course of 15 MINUTES. Nothing happened. Next day office said security never even mentioned a call or any disturbance that evening. Also.... we literally have a new security officer every night. People we have never seen before, and who are never to be found. While anyone from the street... suspicious looking characters walk right into our front door. Also the parking garage gate is wide open on the weekends... even at 2am! Fire alarm has constantly been pulled since I've moved in. Took the office 9 months to attempt to fix it. That's a huge safety concern for tremendous reasons. Finally, the office has different people working at the desks everyday. People who I see once and never see again. I believe I've counted well over 20 people who have sat at a certain desk in the main office. Problem? When There's an issue, it's never addressed because the person isn't able to record your information and follow through. I'm more than likely moving when my lease is up.

I am glad that I decided to rent here because moving from Chicago alone was definitely scary but I have met so many nice people around the pool. Maybe its because its always summertime in California. Anyway awesome spot to live... cool people, nice staff, and I can bring my dog where ever I want.

Vida Hollywood Apartments is one of the worse buildings I have ever lived in. It's unsafe because security here isn't on high alert for hooligans who come into the building. I have had many times people have tried to trespass into my room and one instance when they did. I told mgmt and filed a police report and found out my mgmt had known who the man was and other tenants had filed complaints but this man kept getting inside the building and allowed to be here. Because of this I would never recommend this building to anyone. I would actually tell them to never live here. Besides that fact that this happened the rent is way to high for how this place is ran.

From signing the lease to moving in the apartment everything was smooth and easy. Russell made everything so simple and everything was as promised. I also spoke to Shanique regarding setting up the intercom and she was sweet and set it up for me in less than an hour. I'm happy with the experience so far.

Cute little Alat in a location's amazing. Newly renovated. Safe, great pools and amenities for this price. Mostly young, single people in the building, but we're married and it's fine. Never boring area! After moving here, I really think some of these reviews are from neurotics or people that have a specific issue.

I had a great move in experience, staff's super friendly. location's amazing and reasonable price for the area. Love the amenities, the pool is nice. After the maintenance it will be great. It would be nice to have in unit laundry machine though.

I was just watching the Biography channel and found that Farrah Fawcett lived at HSCA back in 1968.

I lived there from 1999 to 2001. Overall I was happy. It could get a bit loud at times but I was a student it was perfect.

I loved my bright one bedroom on the 3rd floor. I still remember the day I went to look around and they opened the door and it was sooo bright you couldn't see well. Such a change from the other Hollywood apartments I looked at.

The place was clean when I moved in. After about 18 months they repainted the entire bath tub area as there was a small crack in the bath.

Staff were friendly and I would always make sure that I gave my rent in person as one time my check was lost when I slipped it under the door.

We had to pay $100 extra a month for a parking spot. But overall I was paying $720 for the first year, $775 the second year and $845 the last year to live there and I feel that was reasonable.
