not worth the price, horribly managed. Trina hung up on me when I called to complain about the many issues. The elevators rarely work, stink and usually have puddles of animal urine, which is tracked into the carpeted hallways. Also, puddles of urine through-out the property. Tenants let their pets defecate on the balconies, then wash the slop out into the pool area. The Jacuzzi's have NEVER worked properly in the year that we've been there. Security doesn't come when you page them. I've had continuous problems with mgmt allowing others to use my "assigned" parking space (I've complained three times and it's still a problem). this Prea isn't secure, as they always leave the security gate open. I've had clothes stolen from the laundry room. What am I getting for my $1400 per month (for a 540 sq. ft Auite)?
AWFUL, if you dont like to sleep then this is the place for you. I've been here 2 months & constantly being woken up 2am-5am. You can here EVERYTHING your next door neighbor is doing, I can hear the one on one side use the bathroom to opening drawers, to cutting up his food to talking on the phone.... everything..... they also keep messing up my parking spot & reassigning it & threanting to tow it because they forget to enter it in system. Also have almost stepped in dog poop & pee numerous times inside the complex. I cant wait til my lease is up so I can sleep again.

I am so late in getting this out but I helped my daughter move into a 1 bedroom Apace this past January(the day the fires started). I Renuinely need to thank Suzanne(office manager) and Rory for all their help!! They were so kind to both of us . Suzanne was reassuring that things were getting fixed (they had to put in a new toilet & i believed the stove needed fixed too). She stayed in constant contact with my daughter. I am sure that everyday is stressful in that job but to handle it so well is so impressive. Appreciate you more than you know. Lori S.

thought this building was run really well but nothing special until i visited an old friend at another "luxury" building about a mile away. the vantage is so spotless and so kept up well in comparison i was really surprised. i obviously like it here, i've been here 3 years and literally don't have a single complaint. the people in the office are always really nice and say hello to the point it seems they weirdly love their jobs. i couldn't be that nice all the time. the rents are expensive but not a rip-off, it's a "young" building so there's some noise on the weekends but it's frickin' hollywood. i've got a remodeled 2 bdrm on the top floor and i'm not moving till i sell a screenplay and get rich. this would be a million dollar condo with runyon canyon basically at your doorstep as far as apartment living goes, vantage is top notch, kinda like living in a hotel just that nobody comes in and makes your bed.

I have lived here almost 3 years and January 2010 will be my last month at the Vantage/Seravella apartments. Although my stay has not been all bad, I am leaving for more than a couple reason. 1) rent is way too high, especially for the small apartments. I paid $1650 for a 1 bedroom with about 560 square feet of space. Since I moved in before the renovations, we didn t have a washer/dryer in the unit. I know those go for about $1800. Keep in mind that the rent is $1610 but they charge you an additional $25-30 for water and trash, and require that you have renters insurance which is at least another $18. It s comical that they don t cover water/trash because every place we looked at for our recent move does. It s even worse since every year during the rainy winter months, the hot water would go out for a day or two. This would happen multiple times during the coldest months. Try waking up at 6am and taking an ICE .ICE COLD shower then stepping out to 55-60 degree weather. 2) way too small. I just moved into an almost 1000 square ft Anit for $1200 a month(they pay for water/trash). 3) the roaches are a new thing but once they re there, they are your roommates. In the last few months, it went from seeing them outside the Besidence to now having them in my bathroom, kitchen, etc. I know a few other people have mentioned things that I learned to live with but are 100% true. 1) Noise. Yes. Doesn t matter what day of week, you have drunk people making all kinds of noise. Someone else said it was like a frat house. I work a 9-5 Mon-Fri job and I am a minority in this place. Most people are struggling actors/singers/etc. that are living off of Yup. 2) dog poop/urine. Yup. they try to clean it up but this place has a lot of dogs. 3) Staff. I don t hold anything against them because it s a s**t job and has so much turnover I never deal with the same people for that long. How could I expect that they know the place. The only person this place is a fit for, works odd hours, loves to waste money, and has a dog and just has to be that close to Runyan Canyon, no matter how much they over pay. In this rental market, Prometheus mgmt needs to wake up and realize how many options people have and lower their prices. As a renter, you should realize how many options you have and rent elsewhere. I forgot to mention that the elevators are always broken and that too many ------ bags that live here like to deface elevator doors, fire alrms/exstinguishers, and anything they feel like destroying. This all adds to the frat house element.

This Prea is honestly the worst of the worst. I am on my 5th month out of a 6 month lease, thank god I'm almost out. This Prea looks nice when taking a tour but once you move in you suffer from listening to other people having sex, animals barking 24/7, and paper thin walls. All the apartments surround a pool, meaning EVERYTHING echoes, whoever designed this Prea was probably high. Due to the echo problem you will be tortured by hearing everyones conversations, sex, music, and t.v shows. Especially late at night when you need to sleep. You hear peoples animals howling all day long. I have found many dead roaches around my Aad DISGUSTING! The mgmt team isn't the best, nice people, but the lagg big time, they never tell me when I have a package and then out of nowhere i'll get a notice on my door, email, and voicemail demanding I pick up my package (that I didn't even know arrived yet) ASAP because it's taking up their space. Things that have been fixed in my Aad have the craftsmanship of a 3 year old. Goopy glue oozing out of cabinet handles...Basically, don't move here, I'm just trying to save you the problems.

I moved in this year, and I Hesent it... The rooftop has been close for almost 6 months and they told everyone it would be completed in 1 month. There's always water in the garage. It's loud. mgmt never does a think if you put in a complaint. They will try to renovate your Apace whilst you are living in it.... DON'T BOTHER RENTING HERE

My friend has lived there fot about a year. She came home about 6 months ago to find her door broken down and as she got closer she saw the LA County Sherrif's Deputy in SWAT gear with his German Shepard in her doorway. Inside there were another 4 LAPD in bulletproof vests, shotguns and Riot Helmets. After they strip searched her and went through her belongings, they informed her that they had caught a drug dealer in the Broperty who said he was living in her Apace. So rather than do any investigation of this guys information they just got a search warrant, busted into her place and turned it upside down. They went through EVERYTHING.vImagine how violating That's. At least they were nice enough to use one of her bowls to fill with water for the police dog. All she got from the LAPD was an "oops, sorry." From the mgmt? it took them 2 months to fix her door so it would finally lock again properly.

A month after that she was one of a number of people who had their apartments broken into and their laptop computers stolen.

Sounds like my kind of place! Next thing you know they'll designate the place as a reality TV set and up the rent even more. Renter beware.
