The unfortunate truth about this building's management is that they truly do not care about the tenants. When you ask that something be fixed, they treat you like you are out of line. They don t even try to hide their true feelings. Unfortunately, they don t fix the problem either. When someone rents an apartment in a building that person is a customer and should be treated with respect. The management at this building does not abide by that basic rule of business.

I've lived here for nearly 5 months and I absolutely hate it. There is absolutely nothing good about this place. Management is two-face (especially the building manager). They will bend over backwards to get you into the building but will rude and obnoxious when you ask for assistance. The winter months were dreadful because the heater was not working and it took them 5 days before they could send a technician. Even then the heater really wasn't working. <br><br>You have to walk completely around the parking structure to get to your car which i found incredibly stupid. Last night, a crackhead was sleeping behind the back door. A bit of an inconvenience. <br><br> Allen, the night security guard is nice and helpful, but the rest are a bit creepy. The smell of weed seeps through the venilation so my bathrooms smell like someone just lit up. <br><br>There is dog crap all over the the place in the alley.. be very careful where you step and pray it doesn't rain because the smell can be god awful. <br><br>

I have lived at the Lofts for about 5 months and I love my place! The area surrounding has cleaned up a lot in the past couple of months and I really enjoy walking around and exploring the nature of the downtown atmosphere. <br><br>The management staff has been very helpful and if you need anything they are now willing to assist your needs. No one is perfect and I know for a fact that if you have a problem, bring it to Gwen's attention and she will find a resolve! Gwen is a sweet heart and is dedicated to making sure that all the residents are happy with their home...she will go above and beyond her call of duty to make sure that you are happy. If you have a problem and it has not been taken care of, go to Gwen and she will assit in making sure it gets rectified. For anyone who is unhappy...MOVE! If you are still living in the Lofts and you are unhappy, you are the creator of your own destiny so move and let someone who can appreciate all the lofts has to offer! The fitness center and lounge area are beautiful and with any rental community there will always be the select few residents and guests who do not take care of their home. The management staff follows all rules and regulations to qualify households to love in the Lofts! They do and can not give a surveyout on the type of person who is applying to live at the Lofts. This would be against fair housing. So what if there are selected units set aside for affordable housing...this does not mean that we have low income or bad people living at the Lofts...it means that we all have an equal opportunity to live in a NICE place! If there are people not taking care of the Lofts be it inside their home or throughout the community address the situation with management and they can take care of it! I get mad when people destroy the community; writing on the wood walls of the elevator, letting their dogs pee inthe hall ways, or just being disrespectful of other residents, but I tell the management and realize that no matter where you live there are problem residents. <br><br>So I say in closing...if you are unhappy LEAVE, if you are happy stay, and if you have a problem, let management know and if not...get over it! The Lofts are a great place to live downtown! I moved here from San Jose and I love it any problems and all...

THE TRUTH IS THAT YES THE BUILDING HAS ISSUES BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE ONE THAT DOESNT, I HAVE LIVED HEAR FOR ALMOST A YEAR AND WE HAD REASONABLE EXPECTIONS BUT ALSO UNDERSTOOD THIS IS DOWNTOWN AND ABOVE ALL THIS IS A NEW RESIDENTAL FACILITY, SO WE DID EXPECT KINKS BUT MANAGEMENT HAS BEEN GREAT AS FAR AS THE MAIN MANAGER WE HAVE NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS TO SAY ABOUT HER. WE HAVE GONE TO HER WITH ISSUES AND THEY HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED AND TAKEN CARE OF SOMETIMES THAT DAY SO IF THERE ARE PROBLEMS WITH THE ENVIRONMENT THATS ONE THING YOU HAVE TO CONSIDER WHEN MOVING DOWNTOWN BUT THE MANAGEMENT IS NOT THE ISSSUE SO DONT LET THAT BE THE REASON NOT TO RENT HERE
