The elevator has been down over 80 days. No rent concessions because elevator is not in lease even though it states there is an elevator on all of their ads. City has shut elevator down and building continues to fail inspections needed to reopen.

This building has a serious cock roach problem. I have experienced it on the second floor, the fourth floor and I’ve been told there is a infestation on the sixth floor. Management will only send Terminix unit by unit which means only the units reporting are being treated. This means if your neighbor has roaches but not reporting, you can treat your unit, but the problem continues because the infestation is building wide. Secondly, management has allowed a loud after-hours Rave to occupy the building with loud music that blares through the entire building until 5am/6am every Friday and Saturday Night. While every night club downtown closes at 2am, management allows this operation to continue every weekend in a residential building. Patrons of this club are allowed to enter the building through the front lobby to access the club since the club has shut down their storefront trying to disguise that they are open. So residents can expect random people entering the building by the masses every Friday and Saturday Night. This is very concerning considering that unauthorized guests and homeless people entering the building and squatting in units has been a constant problem. There was also a hostage situation in the building about a year ago in which an armed gunman entered the building took a hostage and was shot dead by SWAT. Overall this building has some very serious issues and management’s incompetence is truly mind-boggling. Don’t rent here!

This new employee, likes to tell new or future residents about actual residents life, considering this as harassment, , am one of the residents here and this is not the first time something like this happen. Like getting inside your apartment with no authorization, and take , stolen your money and jewelry, I ready start my legal process, because am taking this situation to legal process to court and this Monday I will contact r the main highest supervisor to inform about all this issues. . This is just one of the videos and proofs have , but I can post it here right now sorry

Today, 10.8.21 there was a hostage situation at this building caught on cell phone with an officer involved shooting. It was aired in ABC. Criminals inhabit this place whether they have a lease not not. Nothing the management says can change the video footage.

Poor management team. actually, they are the most unprofessional team I ever met. I am interested in Santa Fe loft, so I scheduled 4 tours. Overall, the building is lovely however, the management team who running this building certainly has no clue about customer service. In short, I will not consider Santa Fe lofts and apartments if this property is still using this management team. Here is my 4 tours, a very interesting story. First tour was good, Evan was helpful and tell us come back next Monday so we can see a unit which will be available on Sunday.(which is unit 7-N) Second tour was missed since they schedule me on Monday, which is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. I think they will have someone working during holiday or they won't schedule me on Monday however, it is not, I was blocked outside the building since the management team forgot Monday is holiday, so no one showed up. I emailed Evan, he replied me on Tuesday morning and apologized for his absent. I said that's no big deal, let's reschedule. This is the first time they waste my time. Third tour was bad. I called Evan early in the morning to confirm the appointment and confirm the availability of unit 7-N. He said that the unit is still available. After the tour, I was very happy and ask the leasing office to get all forms to apply this unit. Evan's supervisor Ana tell me that the unit had been leased, they have already received application fee yesterday. I called earlier that day specifically mentioned I want to rent 7-N and if you know it has been leased, why still tell me to come and see it? This is the second time they waste my time. Fourth tour, which is earlier today. I lost my temper this time since they wasted my time once again. 3 days ago, we made an appointment to see unit 5-N. Our appointment is 10:30 today. I actually did not even get into the unit since they told me in front of the leasing office that unit 5-N is not available today and I can't look at the unit-not even a sneak peak. Excuse me? My appointment is 10:30 am today to see unit 5-N on your system. If you guys know 5-N will not be available today, why don't you call me in advance to notice me? You have my phone number and email address when I set up the appointment. If I can give 0 star, I will. Their building is good, but this team...is highly not recommend.

If you like seeing drug addicts and homeless people inside and outside the building, go live here. You will see all of them here. I guess the news has come to skid row that this building is unsecured and they all party here. Sad part is the maintenance don't do nothing to improve security. I know there are some things that you cannot control but at least act up on it. Nothing from the management.

Polaris Management is a greedy unprofessional company that only cares about making as much money as possible. I've been in this building a number of years and over the years I can say the building has become less secure with more and more addicts both using drugs and OFTEN passed out on the building at all times of day. Trash is pervasive throughout the building with people consistently leaving trash in the elevators, hallways and lobby and on Sundays and evenings there are no cleaning staff on site to assure the building is clean so a mess can go hours or days before being addressed. Further, the laundry rooms are often a wreck with the machines flooding and not working properly. Lastly, under Polaris there has been unconscionable rent increases. My rent was raised 18% this year alone yet there have been no updates to my unit in over seven years, not even a fresh paint job. Unbelievable.

Word of Advice: DO NOT MOVE IN Santa Fe Lofts/Polaris Management is the most unprofessional slum lord operation I have ever encountered. I lived here for 7 years and dealt with a slew of management changes --Polaris the current change being the WORST and ANA VILLARREALALL is a TRASH Manager. This building is a complete DUMP. Addicts and sketch people roam the hallways, do heroin in the laundry rooms, smokers pervade the building, roaches, everything is dingy and disgusting and the leasing office is by far the biggest culprit of stress for so many of us that live here. They are highly unprofessional, never in during office hours, dont respond to maintenance request and NEVER FOLLOW THRU. I'M DONE jumped for joy when I moved out. This place has been a HELL HOLE to deal with for the past 2 years. I have lived here for 7 years in total and it really went down hill after Cannon Management.

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. This place is overpriced, loud, messy and dangerous. I have lived here two years, thinking it would get better and it has not. The elevator keeps breaking, the AC keeps breaking, the heat keeps breaking, the hot water keeps breaking. Same things break, over and over again. Also, it is not secure. There are constantly bums in the building. 10 months ago mgmt told me they were aware of this issue --they did nothing about it. Mgmt, the new crew, led by Matt, are friendlier than old mgmt, but seemingly more incompetent. I will renew my lease if they pay me to live here.

Moving into this building was a nightmare, there is only one elevator working and it was impossible to load or unload it as the door tries to close after like 3 sec and just buzzes and pushes you. with only 1 elevator working it also takes forever as you have to share the elevator with other tenants of the 12 story building. There are 3 elevator banks and only one works, thats just lame. An whats up with all bombs that apparently have access to the building, they just come in the gate and rummage the dumpsters making a mess.
