mgmt is constantly turning over in the community. The new mgmt has not taken the time to introduce themselves to the community. The rental prices have dropped since I moved into the building but the company did not offer to decrease current tenant's rent.

When I moved in, the mgmt was still under Forest City. The staff were courteous, friendly, and respond to inquiries promptly. In early 2011, the mgmt changed to Alliance. That's when Met Lofts started going downhill. The staffs are not friendly, they are not responsive, they promised they would handle matters right away, but always ended up not doing them. I have to remind them every time. The neighbors who live in this apartment are also not considerate. The rent keeps on increasing every year. Even though I am a loyal tenant. Not worth living in this place! Not recommended!

I moved from the beautiful Sierra Madre to the Met Lofts. My experience here has been wonderful and easy. The mgmt, security, and maintenance are all 100% legit. I hope Birkshire is giving all its employees raises!

I have enjoyed living at Metlofts. The location, amenities, and the parking is a true gem in DTLA. It’s been great living here and I appreciate calling it home. I feel safe walking around the neighborhood. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful.

I've been living here for less than five years and the rent has gone up over five-hundred dollars. It's a location's amazing, but the value is definitely dropping with all the new places being built nearby.

Its what you would expect for luxury urban living. The staff does a great job at keeping things safe and secured. A block down from Staples Center and a quick walk to grocery stores, shopping, and entertainment.

Place has deteriorated rapidly. Not its former self sadly. Zero reason to pick this place as your home. Property manager and maintenance supervisor dont care about your needs even when its a fire hazard

Love, love, love it! Moved into a corner unit. really nice, private. I read the rest of these reviews. My hot water is steaming hot in under 60 seconds. That guy should probably contact the office instead of ranting on here. The staff was helpful from day one. My closet light was out when I moved in, I called Yen and she had maintenance up the same day to change it.

I wasn't aware of the low-income program either, but this IS downtown. If any place is expected to be diverse It's definitely downtown. It seems more and more buildings are providing low-income housing.

Parking couldn't be more ideal. I literally walk 45 steps from my car to my front door.

I will be bummed if I see kids running around the gym but so far so good- haven't seen any.

I moved here from the Pegasus. I lived there for a good 3 years before The Daily Grill came in. I think restaurants/retail space comes along a while after a building opens. You gotta have tenants before retailers wanna put up shop.

My advise for the guy below me is to complain to mgmt. It's part of what out $3500 rent pays for. :)

It’s downtown LA so you’re going to deal with some homeless and riffraff but if you need to live downtown South Park and the met lofts are a great choice. mgmt is quick to get back to you and you get the sense. They actually care. It’s really close to a lot of bars in the crypto arena.
