Definitely not moving anywhere else for a while. The staff takes care of your requests and questions quickly and are extremely nice and go above and beyond to make you feel like you're truly home. Great for single people and couples because of the "community feel" and the amenities are great!

I fell in live with 1000 Grand when I toured it, despite it being my last tour after a marathon of about 10 places in a day. Kerstin was amazing and enthusiastic. The property itself is beautiful and you could tell from day one (and I see them out there every day) that the maintenance staff work hard to keep this place sparkling clean. The amenities are wonderful in terms of the pool, the gym, conference rooms, theater. The common kitchen/living room area has an espresso machine for residents to use. Besides Kerstin, I've also mainly interacted with Alex who is wonderful as well - they are always happy to help and not bothered at all with any little questions. All of my expectations have been met or even exceeded - looking forward to my next few years here.

Living at 1000 S. Grand is amazing. The mgmt team is always available and ready to assist. The DTLA location is perfect; close to groceries store, LA Live, and Staples Center. awesome spot to live.

We have been greeted by Alex who kindly took us on a full tour. He was knowledgeable and pleasant. He showed us a few apartments and even cared to measure how a king size would fit in the room (he was that amazing I tell you!). The apartment shown was gone shortly after we viewed it and Alex called us a week later early in the morning as another one within our budget was available. We viewed it and moved in the following week :)

I moved in to 1000 Grand in December, and so far it has been the best experience. You get the downtown LA feel, without breaking the bank like a high rise. The office staff are beyond helpful for any situation especially Brianna and Lexi.

Moved here in June and I just absolutely love this place! The leasing staff is great especially David-Jay and the maintenance staff here is awesome! If I could give one suggestion...I wish they had some clean the or wash the floors outside of the building and the main entrance of the parking garage. Just because of the stench from pet urine in front of the building and the side entrance of the building as well. Other than that its a really clean establishment I love it here!

Some neighbor drama aside, this is a beautiful place to live in DTLA. Our favorite parts are the reserved parking with double garage doors (twice the security), stainless steel/dark wood combo, and beautiful new appliances (washer/dryer, dishwasher, and fridge)! We love our city view from the balcony and the natural sunlight that comes in. But the best part is the people who work here - Brianna in the leasing office and Dennis + Oscar in maintenance are the stars of this building! Maintenance is always so quick to respond and efficient in their workflow. They always greet us with a smile and are wonderful, instantly trustworthy people to have in your home to help fix stressful issues. Brianna was so communicative and kind through a nuanced personal issue we were having. Thanks to all for making our experience here great!

Great location and great amenities! All the staff are great to work with at all times. Whenever we have quests they are impressed with the building and amenities. Of course my comments will always be about the window cleaning and I’m hopeful that this occurs more than once a year. Thanks again for all you do.

Valuables were stolen from my car in their gated garage. They did not pay for any damage, merely told us to call the police. There's absolutely no security after 6PM. The leasing office never takes any calls or respond to contact forms and missed calls. Sometimes I don't receive codes for my packages and leasing office closes early so it's difficult to catch any staff member. Their mgmt team just keeps going downhill.

I love living at 1000 South Grand. As a single empty nester this community was exactly what I was looking for. Safe, secure, great neighbourhood, underground parking, balcony, great views, beautiful lobby, awesome neighbours. I love the concierge as well. Always nice and accommodating.
