— 462 LEXINGTON AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Never had an issue with having no heat, but wish we could control it. Sometimes rooms got so hot it was unbearable. At least it was near a park. Cons: Paper thin walls, could hear every other unit in the building, poor build quality, dirty and dilapidated hallways, lazy repair in bathroom, no windows in living area, not located in a great area. Also 15+ min walk to any train, isolated from stores/bars/etc. Mailbox was never fixed and was always open and unlocked, intercom was never fixed, electricity constantly went out for days in the summer. Advice to landlord: Answer the phone and don’t blame your tenants when the power goes out for the 3rd time in 2 weeks. Also, don’t pull a bait and switch with the lease agreement like you did with us.”
— 462 LEXINGTON AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: quiet street and renovated apt. Cons: the worst water pressure i’ve ever seen.”
— 462 LEXINGTON AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Nothing good about this building. Cons: Everything. It all needs to be completely remodeled. Advice to landlord: Fix thing in a mannerly time not when the problem is so bad that tents are threatening to call 311 on you.”
