“Unit 3 Pros: Good location, nice neighbors, Cons: Thin wall, landlord takes forever to fix things, loud noise, dirty common area, garbage area is messy and not organized , interior is cheap and easily to broke, door is so thin, Advice to landlord: Be responsive”
— 229 HENRY STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Location is great, and being positioned in the middle of the block keeps the noise down. Depending on which side of the building you're on, you could get light from two sides because the lot next door is a community garden. Cons: Where to begin. The landlord is bizarre and hard to contact - it's a company that owns a bunch of buildings. The common spaces - hallways, etc. are always filthy and smell. Packages get stolen. The front door is broken half the time. And you still have to mail your checks in - who has a checkbook anymore?!”
