WEST 152ND ASSOCIATES, L.P. · avg 3.2 ★★★★★ · New York City
“Pros: Elevator and laundry. They allow pets. Cons: Water pressure horrible, im sure the luxury building next door has it all . Leaks are constant. Roaches are visible. Elevators have issues. New door was down for over a month. Heat is dismal. Lots of older tenants that dont let the building improve. The super is never to be found and if you do catch him he never does anything. You will get the maximum increase every year! Advice to landlord: Get a new super. Fix all the issues.”
— 625 WEST 152 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: There’s laundry in the basement and a (mostly) functioning elevator Cons: Response time from management isn’t great”
— 625 WEST 152 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 34 Pros: Elevator, washer dryers in basement, large bedrooms, wonderful super. Any issue that has arisen the super has dealt with quickly and resolved the issue. Washer and dryers are always working and the garbage is well taken care of. The walls are very thick and we never hear any of our neighbors. Cons: On occasion packages are stolen or missing. Would like surveillance cameras to be posted. Would like windows to be cleaned on the outside. Advice to landlord: Have windows cleaned on the outside of the apartments. Put in surveillance cameras near the mailboxes.”
— 614 WEST 152 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: was nearly renovated and had an open floor plan with a queen size bedroom and plenty of closet space. trending neighborhood with plenty of entertainment nearby Cons: bugs, but what else is new in NYC. beware of package thief on first floor, track your packages and be home lol”
— 614 WEST 152 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 51 Pros: Large apartment in a good area for a decent price. Cons: Packages are CONSTANTLY being stolen where the super couldn’t care less. There are cameras in the hallway for nothing more than decoration. Anytime we have any sort of problem in our apartment we have to threaten to not resign our lease to get them to do anything about it. Advice to landlord: Answer our calles and get the cameras fixed.”
— 614 WEST 152 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 2C Pros: Garbage management and low noises levels Cons: Non responsive management, rarely clean the building, have to hunt down management to fix anything”
— 625 WEST 152 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 2c Pros: View to the water, garbage is managed well Cons: Dirty, non responsive management. Mice rats and roaches and first floor neighbor smokes in hallway/ apartment and fills building with smoke”
— 625 WEST 152 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Nicely renovated apartment, good appliances, good closet space. Quiet neighbors except for one usually. Super is friendly and pretty responsive. Never seen a cockroach in my apartment. Laundry in basement. Cons: I wish the heat was better in the winter. I have to use my space heater a lot.”

— 614 WEST 152 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: 2 Elevators, two apartment exist doors for Apt 57. Good security. Cons: During the process of filling out the application. A document was provided indicating that bed bugs were found on the 5th Floor within this year 2020. It turned out after numerous inquiries that the only apartment affected was Apt 57, the apartment we were looking to lease. This being a health hazzard, I wanted proof that the Bed Bug problem had been resolved prior to proceeding. Based on the document provided, I got the impression that I was being fooled with a terminating company that was assisting management, for whatever reason to cover them. Bottom line, when I went further into verifying the two invoices, I got resistance from the gentleman who answered at the exterminating office which by the way, REFUSED out of curtisy and professionalisium to give me his name. He hung up three (3) times on me 🤔 Shortly after that management at the building rejected our application after it had been approved. That got me even more suspicious 🤨. Be vigilent & causcious. Advice to landlord: A prospective leasee has the right to request Official Supporting Documentation after revealing I.A.W the lawthat there's been an investation of bed bugs. Making a general statement by saying 5th floor and finding out it was in the apartment we were about to lease was both unetical and unprofessional. In the future provide a valid Official Supporting Document instead of some created in valid receipt with a PO#, Invoice and signature by the person that pesticided the apartment. This is a required state law requirement that you intentionally had someone falsify. This building Manager has an extrodinery amount of violations 🤔 Now that should be huge alert in reference to management quality by taking corrective measure to eliminate them. Renter Be wear!!”
