TOWNHOUSE RENTAL VII, L.L.C. · avg 4.0 ★★★★★ · New York City
“Unit 3 Pros: Lots of light Nice neighbors and neighborhood close to the park Cute place overall Cons: Trash builds up in the entire front entrance Rainwater doesn’t drain well near entrance so there’s a puddle sometimes Front door to building doesn’t always close”
— 233 CLERMONT AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: New remodel building — we were the first tenants in the unit. Very close to the J but not too close where you can hear it. Plenty of grocery stores and bodegas nearby. Very large unit with storage Cons: 1) Renovation job was very shoddily done— simple things like sealing the wood flooring, making sure all the outlets work, sealing gapping between the walls/floors. Unit has been basically falling apart since the day we moved in 2) Big mgmt company bought the building, raised rent at lease resigning exactly 5% + CPI which has made it too expensive to justify staying another year. No other units nearby cost this much, it’s priced way too high Advice to landlord: If you want to keep tenants, don’t raise rent to Williamsburg prices!”
— 1012 HALSEY STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: newly renovated and high ceilings lots of natural lights Cons: not fixing things entirely”
— 1059 GREENE AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Great neighbourhood. Not as loud as it may seem. The landlady is kind and fair. I recommend if a space opens up. Cons: Neighbour has a bad habit of collecting junk from the street. Advice to landlord: None. She’s great. Keep it up.”
— 88 5 AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Was a good deal space / rent. Landlords were great. Super responsive and really cares. Cons: It’s an older building that could use renovation. But then obviously the rent would go up.”
