“Pros: Still expensive but cheaper than other buildings in the area, and overall has been a clean and stable place to live. I haven't seen any pests, but there is regular pest control. The heat is also very strong in the winter. Cons: The biggest issue is that the hot water is very unreliable. Some neighbors have dogs that make noise, and there is occasionally a lot of noise from 4th Ave. This is also an old building so some things are not modernized: the door locks are finicky, the intercom doesn't let you hear or talk to guests outside. Lastly, we've had packages stolen from the lobby area. Advice to landlord: Thank you for maintaining this building to the high standards that you do. I'd only ask that you make sure that hot water feeds reliably to units.”
