The 392 Central Park West Condominium · avg 4.8 ★★★★★ · New York City
“Pros: Beautiful building with lovely landscaping, very clean and staff is very kind. Short walk to Central Park and centrally located to many subway stops. Private gardens and playground as well as bike room, play room and large laundry in basement. Cons: Extremely high fees. Dogs are not allowed in the lobby, and even though it looks dog-friendly, renters are not technically allowed to have pets in their units unless they are service animals. Management is nice but leave site early, and interpret building rules incorrectly regarding contractors/ hired help and times they are allowed on site (sometimes illegally so). Building is filled with grumpy old people who complain all the time about everything including walking around after 8pm and speaking on your own balcony during normal hours. Some individual apartment landlords are absolutely terrible and will not address requests to fix apartment features. These landlords will also act unprofessionally and sometimes illegally in relation to existing lease agreements and nyc tenant law.”
