“Unit 1E Pros: Building staff very friendly and helpful 24 hour doorman good location Cons: strict when it comes to moving in and out”
— 350 EAST 30 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Large apartment, lots of sunlight, sizable kitchen, nice staff, convenient laundry Cons: I had issues with the property management. The manager is not the easiest person to get along with and is a bit abrasive. He makes things more difficult than they need to be because it has to be completely on his terms. There are garbage rooms on every floor, but they shut them down during Covid and have not been reopened. There is also constantly bugs in the apartment during the summer/hot months despite the exterminator coming and spraying.”
— 350 EAST 30 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 2V Pros: - It's not a terrible location - The doormen are nice for the most part Cons: - Very loud with the hospital and men's shelter close by - Lost our gas for multiple months and they didn't give us any discount on our rent (this included our oven not working) - Laundry room is gross and tiny - They aren't very quick to fix things that are broken - I had a pipe burst in my bedroom and it took multiple days to get a response - Scammed us out of some money moving out Advice to landlord: Stop switching over management companies and it made for a horrible experience when we lives there for a few years.”
— 350 EAST 30 STREET · Manhattan“Unit 1C Pros: Friendly doormen & neighbors, great area of manhattan, nice appliances. Cons: No control of heat/AC, not much natural light (1st floor), 1 or 2 pest problems over 2 years. Advice to landlord: Reopen the trash rooms on each floor”
— 350 EAST 30 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: most of the doorman were really nice and helpful, garbage was good, laundry room was clean. Cons: roaches in the apartment and pest control was either hit or miss and the super is terrible... Advice to landlord: new super please”
— 350 EAST 30 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Pretty clean, quiet, elevator building Cons: Some bug problems”
— 350 EAST 30 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Super was responsive, doormen were great. Cons: I have a roach infestation and it took the exterminator coming 3x to resolve it. Advice to landlord: Pests need to be handeled.”
— 350 EAST 30 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: The doormen are the real gems of this building Cons: A little outdated”
— 350 EAST 30 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: It was in NYC.. and that’s a stretch because it helped make leaving the city easier to deal with Cons: Honestly, just look at the list of violations and assume that I had dealt with each and every one of them (because I did). On top of it, every single issue with the unit took MONTHS to ever be dealt with. On top of that, the gas supply was out in the entire building for months. Conveniently this happened right as there was a management company switch. Virtually half of the building’s units had undergone a change in management and they would constantly juggle the blame for lack of responsiveness. This lack of responsiveness and care for the units and tenants is the biggest concern. I’ve lived in multiple buildings with different issues, and understand that it happens. Typically, I would have the issue dealt with promptly. I hope that nothing serious ever happens in that building, because they probably wouldn’t respond until it was too late. Advice to landlord: Sell the building”
