“Pros: It is possibly the best dorm near Columbia University. Cons: Shared kitchen is not the best.”

“Pros: Really great, well-maintained building. Amazing security in the lobby, definitely the safest I've felt in NY. Cons: Since this is a building geared towards students, the units are tiny efficiencies and most lack private kitchens (there are shared kitchens on alternate floors). Depending on how clean your floor-mates are, therefore, cleanliness of the said kitchens can become quite the problem. That said, the management is responsive and does its best to respond to such complaints. Since the walls are fairly thin, noise can also be a bit of an issue but a call to the front desk typically takes care of it.”

“Pros: Good location (cross streets Broadway and Amsterdam), really nice kitchen, comes partially furnished. Loved the eat in kitchen. Cons: Linoleum floors in every room, very finicky finish in the walls, at the top of a hill.”

“Pros: staff, views of Morningside Park Cons: it's only available for faculty members at Teachers College”

“Pros: Clean, no pests, extremely quiet. Cons: The security guards are mostly useless, not a doorman, not even security. Advice to landlord: Allow deliverymen into the building.”

“Pros: This building felt very safe & secure. It was quiet and well located to campus. Cons: Response times for service requests were sometimes slow.”

“Unit 709 Pros: Everything is managed. You live effortlessly. Cons: Can’t live there if not a student. I wish I could live there even after graduating. Advice to landlord: Please let me live again.”
