“Unit 2R Pros: Nice units, quiet block. Neighbors keep to themselves. Cons: Very bad cockroach problem Advice to landlord: Address the cockroach issue”

“Pros: The street this apt is on is so cute. Cons: The back of this building faces a school, so children can be heard shouting on the playground all day long, even with the windows closed. It was difficult to work from home. The gas malfunctioned twice in the middle of winter, it was absolutely freezing in the apartment for days in a row. The electrical wiring is not in good shape. Lights flicker regularly, especially when I use the microwave. Two or three times there have been homeless people hanging out in the vestibule of our building. The trash is not locked so non residents go through the trash and make a mess on the sidewalk in front of the building. The walls are also a bit thin, I heard my upstairs neighbor's activities at times. The hot water is occasionally what seems like boiling hot too.”

“Pros: Wonderful neighbors, nice neighborhood Cons: Horrific management- stole deposit with made up charges, super that was borderline abusive and ignored issues including a gas leak, heating did not work when it got to a certain temperature, water leakage in apartment and the final straw was the mice.”

“Unit 3F Pros: South facing toward a stunning church, relatively quiet street at night and during the day, ideally situated, entryway and mailroom is safe and well-lit. Super is responsive but slow to execute. Cons: Have had cockroaches twice but pest control saw to it each time once a month. Trash piles up, recycling falls into the entryway.”
