“Pros: Size is good Cons: No sunlight and close to bars so it’s very loud”

“Pros: - Maintenance issues fixed quickly. - Spacious with lots of storage. - No pest issues. - Nice, normal neighbors. - Location is good. Cons: - Bar next door with backyard is very noisy every night. On weekends, club music plays till 10am. - Bad heating system. Doesn't keep the apartment warm and is costly. My first bill in the winter was $350. **Beware, the front building has a rooftop for the bar in the basement. May cause noise.** Advice to landlord: Get the bar next door to stop the noise at a reasonable hour.”

“Pros: It was what you’d expect for a walk up in the village. I never had any real issues with pests, neighbors in the building were quiet, and everything worked as expected. Cons: There’s a bar next door that can be loud Thursday-Saturday. Wasn’t terrible if you run a fan at night. Only real con is there’s no garbage service in the building, trash comes Monday, Wednesday, Friday and you haul it to the curb. Advice to landlord: N/A”

“Pros: location is great and size of the apartments are reasonable Cons: Hi all :) I lived on the ground floor in the rear of the building. Bad news is that building is in bad shape with pipes freezing, mold in hallways, and rats in between the front and rear. Landlord won't give you his number, only calls tenants from a restricted number so you can't call him back. Moved back with my roommate after who is a lawyer and she said the lease was the least tenant friendly she had ever seen. Hard to move in NYC right now but avoid if you can!! Best of luck :) Advice to landlord: Give tenants an emergency number”

★★★★★Jul 2022

“Pros: Location is tough to beat and apartments have enough room for 1 person Cons: Dirty neighbors with bars on both sides who are both loud and leave trash on street. Landlord won’t improve anything in the building or the apartment. Rats in between building that landlord won’t pay to fix. Building smells horrible when it gets hot and is only cleaned once or twice per year. Only stayed there for one year. Advice to landlord: Make some improvements. Your reputation in the building is horrible.”
