“Pros: Renovated apartment in fun neighborhood Cons: Horrible micr infestation and the building management is a sketchy, never met the actual landlord Advice to landlord: Regular exterminators”
— 209 SCHAEFER STREET · Brooklyn“Unit 3 Pros: There is nothing good about this apartment Cons: I lived in the apartment for a year and it was simply the worst place Ive ever rented. The building is in need for serious repairs. There are holes in the walls when you first enter and the light fixture are broken as well. The building was roach infested through out the entire time of living there. The pest control was improper and we’ve only received sticky traps twice for the entire year. No one sprayed the building! We also had a situation where the ceiling was cracked and parts of it fell into my roommates closet. It caused a very bad leak and the management took weeks to fix it. I’ve also discovered mold in our bathroom, management simply spray painted over it. Finally, this apartment is in a very dangerous area. We had a break in around the fall. It’s near a smoke shop so there tends to be a lot of people cracked out wondering around and either fighting or trying to break in. Advice to landlord: Fix your building and respond to your tenants complaints!”
— 207 SCHAEFER STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: None at all Cons: Omg . Where do I begin, the landlord is a slum lord you’ll be living amongst rats theyll creep up in the middle of the night to give you some kisses. The ceiling is full of cracks roaches whenever you open any cabinets the bathroom water pressure is non existent . The people who live on the first floor run a mango business and don’t clean up after themselves so you know these rodents are living off these freebees. They love to steal packages too Advice to landlord: Stop slumming the properties”
