“Unit 1 Pros: - neighbors are friendly - good location Cons: - heat frequently out, radiators inoperable - been here 4 years and never received keys to our deadbolt or back doors - no maintenance to speak of - trash is handled every 2 weeks, lots of rats - management company unresponsive unless you call 311 - illegally de-regulated units, eviction notices for regulated tenants - rent up 40% in 4 years Advice to landlord: sell the building to someone who knows how to take care of it”

“Pros: Great location, good neighbors, quiet street Cons: When I lived there, the heat was through radiators, and the pipes got really hot and loud. This was a long time ago though.”

“Pros: Quiet block, laundry close Cons: Mice infestation Landlord and super are terrible, unresponsive and straight up rude They will not make an effort to solve issues with your unit, they will gaslight you and delay delay delay Advice to landlord: Try, just try to be a better person”

“Pros: It was roomy, and the outside of the building is cute Cons: Unfinished, and you had to outright harass the actual Llc to get a single thing fixed (super would never follow through). Even when the issue was damaging to their own property. Don’t believe the realtor that anything will be done before you move in Advice to landlord: Be better people? advice to property owner, lol, as if they care”

“Pros: Neighbors have been lovely, very pet friendly, haven’t had any packages stolen yet. Cons: Super isn’t responsive (will say he will do something and then doesn’t - even after several follow ups), heat is too strong, biggest issue is repeated plumbing problems in bathroom and kitchen - couldn’t use my bathroom for 20+ hours once, doesn’t have video intercom so it’s hard to know who is buzzing you. Never got the keys to many of my front door locks so had to change them myself (super said he would but never did). Advice to landlord: Need to be responsive especially to big problems.”

“Pros: Quiet, nice neighbors, good location Cons: Building common space is not regularly cleaned, super and landlord largely unresponsive. Advice to landlord: Please respond to your emails and phone calls.”

“Unit 8 Pros: Beautiful apartment. Spacious quiet and modernized. Cons: Super had to be hassled for all issues. Even major ones like leaks or no heat. Jobs were always incomplete. Advice to landlord: Hire more responsive staff.”

“Pros: Great neighborhood. Great neighbors. Cons: Incredibly loud heat Mice Trash accumulation in front of building Common areas are not kept clean Broken buzzers Plumbing backs up Advice to landlord: Treat tenants with respect and treat the building like it’s more than an ATM.”
