“Pros: The neighbors were nice but thats about it. Cons: This property is a complete abomination. Landlord (Romanello Realty) owns 14 multi unit locations in Brooklyn. However, landlord can’t respond to 1 apartment. My apartment was in serious disrepair which includes extreme mold, collapsed ceilings, collapsed walls, endless amounts of roaches and splintering wooden floor tiles. My unit had over 36 violations confirmed by NYC HPD. Landlord does not respond to any issues. The building never has any heat! The only time they turn it on is when someone calls the city. After inspectors leave, they turn it off again. I’ve experienced everything imaginable at this location. Landlord has never painted the walls though out my residence here. They also depend on 1 super to make repairs to over 100 units by himself. The building is located in front of a MTA bus depot and major road used by semi trucks and other heavy machinery. Avoid this place at all costs. Your money is better spent elsewhere. Advice to landlord: Its time that you took care of your tenants. They are the reason why you’re able to maintain your wealth. Your property is disgusting. A far cry from your pompous wealthy living in the Hamptons. Florida and Staten Island. Invest into your property so you can avoid immense disrepair conditions.”
