“Pros: Pros are the rent is below market rate Cons: There are RATS in the building. As in: your unit, the walls, floors, basement, etc. Roaches, mice, flies, you name it. Constantly smells like a decomposing body. Mold and water damage. The building is just falling apart and has not been updated for decades. Everything is half done, so tiled floors without grout, unsealed toilet, etc. The “floors” are sub floors and you can see to your neighbors apt ceiling bc of all of the holes/split wood in the floors. Landlord will not fix anything. Advice to landlord: Care about the quality of life of your tenants”
