“Pros: - Windows block out almost all sound from the street - You basically never hear normal noise from other apartments, only the occasional loud music on weekends - Management is quick to respond to maintenance requests - Rent increases have been minimal, 2-3%, year to year - Building is cleaned and garbage and recycling are handled daily - Gym is small but not frequently used so most times you are the only person using it Cons: - Elevator occasionally breaks - There was a gnat problem in the laundry room but that has been addressed - There are only 4 washers and 4 dryers so there can be a wait during peak laundry times”

“Unit 302 Pros: Location is unbeatable The building itself isn't bad; the units are well-sized, and the appliances are new and good. The building is quiet, and neighbors are friendly. I enjoyed my two years here and would've renewed if prices weren't as high as they are The view and rooftop are amazing. Cons: Two years here, and the elevator was broken twice, the first time was just a couple of days, and the second time it was broken for almost two weeks; I was lucky enough I lived on a lower floor Someone said it best, amenities feel incomplete; even after 4 years, it still feels like a WIP Gym is small You can hear everything from the hallway; the doors are so thin that I could hear my neighbors fighting (sound came from the hallway, not from the walls) You can hear and feel the garage door opening if you live on the lower floors. Make sure you don't have trash or anything to recycle on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Sundays, the garbage chute and refuse room are full.”

“Unit 608 Pros: Great location, well maintained, nicely furnished units. Lived here for 3 years and happily renewed every year! Cons: Elevator went out frequently in my 3 years there . Pretty minimal building utilities but they do in a pinch”

“Pros: Lovely roof, clean common areas, lots of natural light, fairly secure package room, good location, decent appliances and finishes Cons: Blinds not included, insecure access to building (they should change the codes for street access access), gym is SO small with little equipment, not enough bike storage (and the refused to add more or install more elsewhere in the building when I asked), split units don't heat very well, studio is ridiculously small, common area feels unfinished, neighbors on my floor are loud albeit infrequently, closets were not properly designed which results in having to push in my hangers at a 45° angle, hot water runs out quickly, can never get anyone on the phone—they only respond to emails, often hear others ringing the emergency bell in the elevator when it gets stuck, small amount of parking Advice to landlord: if you're going to charge luxury prices, maybe do more than the bare minimum for a regular apartment”

“Pros: Very quiet with a nice roof deck. Great location. Cons: The "gym" is everything but a gym. For the price they charge for the units here, the amenities start and end with the roof deck (setting up the grill and lights on the roof took forever anyway). Zero responsiveness from the super or the management when it comes to issues. When we moved in, there was grout everywhere, and the lights that we were missing in the bathroom were never installed. Front door gets left wide open and one of our neighbors got their bicycle stolen. Everything has the same pin code and everyone knows the code. The laundry was not working for several weeks. There were lies told about Verizon Fios being in the building before the move in, but it was only installed after months of begging. Packages mysteriously disappear from the package room. THE ELEVATOR IS LITERALLY BROKEN EVERY WEEK FOR 24-48 HOURS! People on the 9th floor look like rock climbers at this point. They charge so much for so little. Advice to landlord: Fix your things up. You cannot in good consciousness charge this much (considering the building has a tax rebate) and offer no resolution to tenants issues.”
