“Pros: cheap rent and maintenance is fast. Cons: Residents leave trash everywhere, and fire codes are not enforced.”

“Unit 18 Pros: Responsive management and great super. Laundry in the building. We have a dishwasher. Nice neighbors. Very close to prospect park. Cons: The building allows smoking which comes right into our apartment. Most windows don’t have screens. Some roaches and mice occasionally. We moved out because we couldn’t handle the constant smoke coming into our apartment from the neighbors below. Advice to landlord: Don’t allow smoking”

“Unit 55 Pros: Close to Prospect Park Cons: Unit was not ready to move in: •Puddle of roaches huddling in the hallways, cabinet, inside fridge. •Unit was not clean, previous occupants body fluids and odors remained present. •Fridge handles were broken •Rusty hinges throughout cabinet •Caulked and Painted over black mold •Doors were warped •Irregular water pressure throughout 1 month in: •Roaches still hanging out despite my unit being “exterminated”. I work from home, nobody’s stopped to exterminate anything. •Black substance occasionally coming up through the bathroom drain. •Stolen packages are a regular occurrence. Advice to landlord: Stop robbing people”
