“Unit 1a Pros: It’s a nice building and a beautiful location close to madman Coffee union Square Washington Square. It’s warm there’s good water pressure, the maintenance team are responsive and friendly. Cons: BLDG the management company are entirely paper-based as if it was 1995. They literally make you come to their office and sign 80 pieces of paper until your hand hurts. Every single interaction is a process of many weeks of emailing and documents going back-and-forth when it could’ve been thrown up on a Docusign in a moment. Basically, they just seem to employ people to do tasks that anyone can automate in a second. Someone will eventually buy the company and get rid of all this useless work. Advice to landlord: Stop spending money on paper-based processes and get with technology from 20 years ago. Renewing a lease should take two minutes on a website.”
