“Pros: Pretty apartment. Some of the rooms receive a beautiful amount of light. Not all the rooms. Lovely neighborhood. Cons: He evicted us even though we paid rent. He raised rent significantly a week before rent was due. Not a nice person. We were always on time with rent. He never gave us our rent money back. The apartment had roaches. The heat rarely worked in the winter time. Advice to landlord: It is theft to take your tenant’s rent money and ask your renters to leave a week after rent was paid. All this happened during Hurricane Sandy! Absolutely evil, illegal, and greedy behavior.”
