“Unit A3 Pros: Neighborhood is the perk here. You’re super close to Franklin ave and surrounding neighborhoods and on the A/C. That’s it! Cons: The building is not insulated, walls are super thin, heat never really works, water will scald you every time, no light gets into these places, they allowed mold to continue to grow in my ceiling for months, people smoke in the halls at all hours, garbage is always overflowing, key fobs never works, nothing works here. It’s not worth the (what was) reasonable rent. Advice to landlord: Pretty sure nothing can be said or done at this point.”

“Pros: Elevator, large units Cons: Elevator often not working due to “repairs”, outdated, units need a lot of maintenance, pests, smoking in building”

“Pros: There was an elevator, and my unit had some great views of the Manhattan skyline and the sunset. Cons: In the three years I lived there, we had both cockroaches AND bedbugs. It was a nightmare. Neighbors constantly had loud parties in the halls and left things like shopping carts in the hallways. I saw drug deals going down in the stairwells. And the front door was constantly breaking, making it always open or impossible to open. One day a man got inside through the open front door and violently assaulted me. Advice to landlord: Care about the health and safety of your tenants.”
