“Pros: Phenomenal super, Nooris! Cons: Noisy neighbors omg”
— 436 NEW YORK AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: There's an elevator, close to laundry and so forth Cons: Police station across the street is loud, landlord isn't responsive to sometimes major issues.”
— 436 NEW YORK AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Price. That is all Cons: Repairs are shoddy, water leaks in virtually every apartment (mine and all neighbors I’ve spoken with) Advice to landlord: Fix more things.”
— 436 NEW YORK AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: A lot of tenants have been living here for a long time, nice maintenance crew, really nice super, packages generally don't get stolen, my floor is pretty quiet, the super does a good job with the trash (it's a lot of work!) Cons: Other tenants are irresponsible with how they put trash/recycling in the bin room (i.e trash in the recycling bin, not breaking down boxes etc), my ceiling has leaked probably 2x a year over the last 5 years because they DO NOT fix the roof only patch ups, my windowsills are crumbling and moldy, my tub and tiles around tub are crumbling and flaking and moldy, it can take a long time for the hot water to kick in, and the management office is rude and pretty unhelpful (super is nice and friendly though) Advice to landlord: be honest and actually fix stuff”
