“Pros: Responsive management and super, came immediately when issues were reported. Had one small leak when the bathroom above us flooded. No flooding during crazy rain despite having a 1st floor unit. Neighbors are great, respectful and quiet. Backyard for 1st fl units is a huge perk. There for 2 years and no pests! Cons: Some rooms were colder than others due to the locations of the heating pipes. Walls are thin - but to be expected in nyc apartment. Def rats in the trash outside, but surprisingly no issues inside and they have a pest guy come by every few months to check in with the whole building.”

“Pros: Not many neighbors which is nice. Building is clean and management responds to requests quickly. Cons: Raised my rent insane amount when my lease was up after 2 years. Had to move because of this. Advice to landlord: If your a good tenant, don’t raise the rent so much.”

“Pros: Great location and nicely renovated apartment. Cons: Garbage in front was always a mess and filled with rats (more than usual in nyc). Advice to landlord: Clean up the front of the building.”

“Pros: Great first apartment. Pre-war building and walk ups. In a great area and walkable to subways. Safe because it’s near Baruch college. I got it for a good price, but every year, rent goes up to meet demand. Super is responsive. Cons: Overall, good first apartment, but I had some mice every now and then. I’d say 2 a year (top floor apt). Exterminator comes every month, but even that didn’t prevent mice from entering. If you don’t mind it, you’d like the building. One neighbor has a really loud dog though and they’ve been here for a couple years. Packages get stolen, but I just make sure I’m home during arrival.”
