Unit 1B Pros: convenient location, historical building, tall ceilings Cons: rat problem so bad the USPS refused to deliver our mail so all the tenants had to go pick it up at the local USPS office, incorrectly handled garbage + recycling (that led to big rat issue), trash constantly on the front lawn, a squatter on floor 2 that leaked toxic chemicals into the 1st floor and nothing outside of cleaning up the mess was done, the water sometimes runs brown for no apparent reason, we have to beg the super to have control over the heating, rent checks are cashed in months later than sent, yard unkempt, landlord MIA - practically a myth at this point; the only reason I know who the landlord is is because if you look up the address, he comes up in the top 10 worst landlords in NYC Advice to landlord: advice to crass to write down
