“Pros: Good location and basic needs met Cons: Standard pre-war building issues–a few cockroaches every now and again, nothing crazy. Not a very clean building but nothing particularly out of the norm for these kinds of apartments Advice to landlord: Hire a regular cleaning crew and update apartment fixtures”

“Unit 17 Pros: good light on the 5th floor Cons: mushrooms grew out of my ceiling after a leak not properly fixed”

“Pros: Nobody bothers you. It’s your home. Cons: Owners don’t really assist with emergencies. You have develop a relationship with the super to get things fixed. Advice to landlord: Be more hands on with cleanliness. Don’t rely on super for everything.”
