“Unit 12 Pros: - Responsive property management company - Bike and trash area were relatively well managed Cons: - Heating system is quite old. Heat was not evenly distributed throughout the apartment - some rooms were unbearably hot in the winter while others were too cold. - Bathroom finishings (flooring, cabinetry, grout) weren't the best quality - The building wasn't the most secure - had packages stolen several times”

The building changed while we were there with Popeyes moving in (smell of grease was not inviting). We also had packages stolen regularly. Cons: Wish there was a keypad at the front door so I didn't have to carry a key with me. The buzzer in my apartment doesn't ring so I don't know when a delivery is here. Advice to landlord: I'd love an entry keypad. Also the ability to let a delivery person in remotely would be nice.”
— 352 MYRTLE AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: It was technically a roof (albeit leaky) No rodents. Cons: Many maintenance issues even upon moving in. Management engages in constant gaslighting about fixing things and ends up not showing up not finishing repairs etc. The walls are thin and it can be quite noisy if a neighbor is walking around. Heat is very expensive due to it running off of electric condenser units. Also the insulation is extremely poor Walls were crumbling. Mold gets painted over. Almost everything you have heard go wrong with an NYC rental did.”
— 352 MYRTLE AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: High ceilings, good price Cons: Not worth the price. I don’t know if it has the same management from 2017 but horrible. They lied about building a door before move in which took them a month to install after, never gave us a building key (had to get a copy eventually from a neighbor), cut off the water one week, pests everywhere, and still had the apartment listed AFTER we moved in. I woke up one Saturday morning at 9am to strangers in my apartment! Also a pain with rent. Would frequently charge late fees when paid on time. Advice to landlord: Repairs, better maintenance, efficient responsiveness”
