“Pros: Rent controlled, good space Cons: Management, trash, heat & hot water, mold, pests”

“Pros: Area/location. Close to shops, laundromat and transportation. Cons: Not kept up. Counters and floors aren't leveled so water from sink causes rotting. Stove was not leveled on the floor. The heat was almost always out during the winter. Somethings is always broken in the building. No heat or no hot water because the boiler broke. It stinks in the hallway all the time. Neighbors are loud. There are always either grown men hanging around the building or younger kids/teens making all kinds of noise. Advice to landlord: Keep the building up. Fix all of the above.”
