MF BLUE VALLEY APARTMENTS, LLC · avg 2.0 ★★★★★ · New York City
“Pros: Apartment is large Cons: Management doesn't do a damn thing when asked, serious violations. Advice to landlord: Maybe answer maintenance requests on occasion”
— 299 THROOP AVENUE · Brooklyn“Unit 1R Pros: Nothing really. I guess the location was okay. But the illegal cellar rooms make it difficult to enjoy anything. Cons: Filthy, cheap, not worth the going rent price Advice to landlord: Demolish this building please!!”
— 221 HIMROD STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: great sunlight - very spacious- private outdoor space Cons: Buzzer doesn't work and they havent fixed it for 3 years - you need to be home to recieve packaged or else they get stolen. terrible communication between maintenance and management. wood floors aren't sealed. Foundation is terrible. Our floors split from walls and we had mice (it's been sealed since) Advice to landlord: fix the buzzer”
— 221 HIMROD STREET · Brooklyn“Unit 2L Pros: washer/dryer in unit that barely work Cons: Where do I start...Management is horrible. Ever since living here we have dealt with more issues than I can name: leaks in almost every single room that they do not fix so they become bigger leaks. Tenants being evicted for owing over $30,000 in rent. The walls are incredibly thin, you can hear everything and everyone's conversations. The unit does have a washer/dryer but they are constantly broken and will not be replaced. Mold issues. Management never fixes anything Advice to landlord: Treat your tenants how you would want to be treated if you were renting here”
— 634 WILSON AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: This building/unit could be so much. In-unit washer & dryer, close to the subway, nice background, and tons of space. The neighbors are nice, although very loud late at night. Cons: Unfortunately, there is a recurring sewage leaks and hot water outages that management is not responsive to and knowingly does not disclose. Get away while you can :)”
— 634 WILSON AVENUE · Brooklyn“Unit 1L Pros: The backyard access Cons: rats, water leaks, slow response to major non-cosmetic issues Advice to landlord: Need major reforms and changes to apartment. Hope it’s okay now”
— 221 HIMROD STREET · Brooklyn“Unit 1R Pros: Near parks and restaurants. Right by the L on Wilson. Beautiful front windows. Cons: Cheap management. Loud very loud neighbors.”
— 634 WILSON AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Central AC, laundry in unit, responsive supers for repairs, relatively cheap for the are, landlords didn’t raise rent for 4 years that I lived there (2018-2021), only 6 units in building so few neighbors. No big issues with building and my unit Cons: Very loud neighbors outside the building, which is standard for Bushwick. My windows always leaked during rain - in 4 years i’ve probably had to get my windows fixed and repainted over ten times (the supers were always responsive). Biggest con is that the management (B&H Management) never returned my security deposit. And they also make all tenants send a full years worth of post-dated checks so they 1) ensure renters don’t skip on last months rent 2) keep the security deposit anyway. Advice to landlord: If your tenant caused no problem and always paid rent on time, so them the courtesy of returning their security deposit.”
— 221 HIMROD STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Very accessible and central to shopping and transportation Cons: Neighbors are loud Neighbors have really loud dogs Neighbors have open fire pit too close to building even when there is another one further away Terrible building with OPTIMUM internet. If you want great internet this is not the place, go elsewhere Advice to landlord: GET FIOS please?”
