METROPOLITAN TERRACE LLC · avg 2.5 ★★★★★ · New York City
“Pros: Shared backyard, shared rooftop, big windows Cons: Hard water, toilet constantly clogging, pipe burst on the first floor, location near the grand L station is not the greatest. With the exception of Grimm Brewery and Late Night Deli, you have to walk a good ten minutes to feel near anything. Kind of dead and not as vibrant as the heart of Bushwick or Williamsburg”
— 949 METROPOLITAN AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Close to Graham Cons: Lazy landlords only do bare minimum to maintain building. Structurally unsound Advice to landlord: Take better care”
— 955 METROPOLITAN AVENUE · Brooklyn“Unit 1R Pros: Nothing- terrible experience Cons: No smoke alarms Peeling paint/ holes in the wall Pests Black mould Exposed/illegal electrical wiring Advice to landlord: Follow the laws”
— 955 METROPOLITAN AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: I honestly can’t think of any good things of this apartment. For my entire upbringing the apartment continuously deteriorated and we wouldn’t receive repairs unless we did it ourselves. Cons: This is the building I grew up in and while I moved out, my grandma stayed. She was evicted after years of harassment by the landlord. He wouldn’t fix the floors that were reduced to the wood below the floor tiles. The roaches were always crazy. The bathroom was falling apart and all of the cabinets and appliances hadn’t been replaced in over a decade.”
— 959 METROPOLITAN AVENUE · Brooklyn“Pros: Great location and apartment was cute Cons: Owners care 0% about anything, will lie and cheat tenants. These are rent stabilized units. They don’t care if you have rats or roaches (had both living here) or mold! Advice to landlord: Take responsibility”
— 955 METROPOLITAN AVENUE · Brooklyn“Unit 1R Pros: I had a gorgeous apartment. Cons: Management not only doesn’t care, but will do things to harm you. Doesn’t fix anything. Rats, roaches, etc I also had an electrical fire and they did nothing, didn't even send a real electrician. Advice to landlord: Start acting like humans”
