“Unit 2 Pros: Ofcourse the location is great, the exposed brick and wood look is good but at what cost. There is a laundromat across the street even though there is no laundry in building. We had a dishwasher. Cons: The owners are not good at all. There are very misogynist. One time they came to see the issues in the apartment and walked in on me in the bathroom without knocking. Did not even apologize. They don't look you in the eye if you are a woman. All the issues in the apartment were only addressed after emailing them multiple times. The building has pest problems because it is above a restaurant. The owners also try to raise rent as high as possible so you have to really negotiate every lease. The building is also poorly insulated with single layer bricks. So expect high heat bills in winter. The windows were very drafty so had to get management to come deal with it. They don't maintain the personal the heat/Ac units. They gave the full deposit back after a month of leaving but without interest. Advice to landlord: Don't be an entitled classist misogynist twat.”

— 364 GRAND STREET · Brooklyn“Pros: Love how beautiful the apartments are. Exposed brick. 2/3 apartments in the building half rooftop access. Prime location. Most of the people in the building are friendly. Cons: Next to the highway - you get used to the noise but occasionally get woken up by big rigs. Management takes forever to respond to any maintenance requests and will forget to fulfil most of them. They’re also extremely tone deaf and horrible people. At the start of the pandemic they emailed residents to let them know that because of the pandemic, in order to make tenants to pay rent on time they were now involving a credit agency to bring down your credit score for not paying on time and waived the $2 processing fee for rent payments due to “hard times”. They’re ridiculous. Advice to landlord: Complete maintenance requests on time and stop sending out classist and tone deaf emails to tenants scaring them into thinking they’ll be homeless for not paying rent on time.”
