“Pros: Location and some nice neighbors. Cons: Superintendent Cruz is completely negligent. Hallways and stairs are not cleaned. Basic litter outside on building grounds are not picked up, which accumulates making entrance into the building an eyesore. Trash bin area in front of building is not kept clean. Poor treatment of tenants when they complain to him. Advice to landlord: Fire superintendent and hire someone that actually cares about their job.”

“Unit A37 Pros: The benefits of the building lie primarily with its proximity to the park Cons: Roach infested. Like really bad. The little German roaches and the big ones. I really have to pester the super for an exterminator to come. The exterminator says they will come every two months but once they perceive the roach problem is solved they’ll stop coming and the roaches come back. Also packages get stolen all. The. Time. We got a new package cage but it is so small so the packages pile up and are difficult to dig through to get your package. The package cage also gets broken into a lot. The ceilings leak, both in the apartments and in the hallways and entrance. The front door is regularly broken into. Advice to landlord: Rent is expensive so why not invest some of the rent we’re paying back into the building we live in”

“Pros: Neighbors are nice, the super seems nice and helpful. The water pressure is ok. The neighborhood is really cute and it’s super close to the express train to Manhattan. The bathrooms and kitchen are huge for the size of the apartment. Cons: The common areas are always dirty. Hallways, stairways and the lobby haven’t been swept or mopped since I moved in over a month ago. Advice to landlord: Please keep the building cleaner.”
