LONDON TERRACE TOWERS CONDOMINIUM · avg 3.4 ★★★★★ · New York City
“Pros: The building is very well staffed and most tenants/shareholders are quiet and civilized people. The location is wonderful, the doormen and staff are helpful and kind. the units themselves are charming and nice. Cons: There have been consistent issues with hot water since I moved in. Shower either takes 15-20 minutes to get hot, only reaches lukewarm temperatures, or can turn cold especially during periods of bad weather. Maintenance has definitely been responsive and tried to address it but the hot water remains iffy. Advice to landlord: Given it's an old building, I'm not sure much can be done about the hot water - it would also be nice if there could be more enforcement of people not smoking marijuana in their units since the smell does definitely spread to other units.”

— 465 WEST 23 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: The neighborhood and building are great, no complaints Cons: my specific landlord wasn't the most responsive, but that's apartment specific - maintenance was operated by the building so everything was great! Advice to landlord: Depends on the unit really”
— 465 WEST 23 STREET · Manhattan“Pros: Historic building, swimming pool Cons: I'm forced to break the lease after 2 months of living in the unit 3I, owned by Joel Rentlzer because of secondhand smoking. The landlord hasn't taken any actions within 30 days of being notified, and yet he's threatening he'll report me to credit agencies if I don't continue paying the rent. He's supposed to be a professor at Baruch college, but unfortunately he’s more of a mafia. Advice to landlord: Don’t be a mafia”
